We had a really lovely experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, with just the right balance of lively energy and comfort.

For starters, we tried the coleslaw salad, the monkfish, and the shrimp taco. Everything was fresh and well presented. The monkfish was especially impressive, perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the shrimp taco had a great balance of texture and seasoning.

For mains, we had the tuna kebab and the squid schnitzel. The tuna was tender and nicely grilled, while the squid schnitzel was crispy on the outside and still soft inside, which is not easy to achieve. Both dishes were satisfying and thoughtfully prepared.

Overall, good food, welcoming service and a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We were staying on the same road so we thought we would give it a try and so glad we did! Not typical Greek flavours, the ceviche for example is Peruvian and the tuna tataki, Japanese. The monkfish kebabs came with an eggplant cream and miso. The tarama cod roe came with nori sheets and wasabi. You see what I mean? The mains were calamari schnitzel and tempura cod. Again, not classical Greek. The service was great. It got busy by 8.30pm it was full. We went on a Monday night. We arrived at 7.15 and only 4 people. Prices are high, but, you’re not getting typical Greek food. Yummy! 6 dishes came to €92 euros. Only had tap water. Not pressurised to buy sparkling water, wine or additional drinks. Bravo!

Very good restaurant of fish in a not touristic place of Athens. We had the best meal in 5 days spent in Athens. A very nice mix of tradition and innovation.

A high quality meal that had rich and deep flavors. I got the scallops and risotto with their stuffed grape leaves. Would come back again. Staff was professional, food service was quick. The spanish chocolate creme burlee was the cherry on top.

Great little find in a quiet corner of the ancient Centre.

If you’re looking for a change from the typical traditional tavernas and want to escape the crowds of Plaka, Monastiraki and even now, Psiri, then this little Greek bistro is producing some really delicious food with a nice, relaxing ambience in Koukaki.

Great restaurant, great food, amazing service level. The appetizer I chose was delicious – bonito with sesame seeds and soy sauce. The main was orzo with shrimps and man, was that tasty. Great experience, but a bit over priced.

Fish tacos (with fried shrimps) are fabulous. Tuna steak is cooked perfectly.

Update: The original comment above reflects my visit in August 2025. The following comment reflects my visit in January 2026:
Fish tacos (with fried cod) are fabulous as well. Schnitzel is fried extremely good (a bit salty though).

The Giouvetis is good, the rest are… Service is friendly but slightly sloppy. My fork is sticky before I use it, and the staff put the bowl on my food plate, slight cleanliness issue.

We were led to this restaurant when my wife and I were getting a bit fed up with traditional Greek dishes during our stay in Athens. As its name suggests, Seawolf serves mainly seafood and fish. I went for the catch of the day – grilled white grouper with broccoli on the side, which they’d definitely nailed it. The dish had a pronounced charcoal flavour but still maintained a mild and sweet taste of grouper and the meat was still juicy. My wife had risotto which was rich and creamy with plenty of squids. Highly recommended for visitors who are fond of seafood and fish!
