Made it in time today before they closed at 7pm. My husband ordered the lunch special: clam strips, beer battered fish, shrimp, and fries. I ordered fish and chips. Waitress was very friendly and came to check on us numerous times. We loved the atmosphere and John Wayne memorabilia. Great experience and we will definitely dine again when in town.

The is a jewel hidden in Pahrump. I love seafood so I’m going to try any new place that opens. The staff was super friendly as soon as I walked in the door. The interior is modern and very clean including the restrooms.
The menu has great choices like Guinness battered fish and halibut. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and fried. Next time I’ll try a fish sandwich on one of their French rolls.
If you love John Wayne, there are great murals and a memorial collection in the back of the restaurant.

Service, service, service! Shane was exceptional with his authentic & deliberate customer service. I do not come across this kind of service very often in my travels, so when I do I must make sure to point that out. Great customer service is an art and Shane is a fish and chips, Keith Haring.
The men’s restroom was as clean and sanitized as it could possibly be! Which always tells me that the kitchen is just as clean.
I ordered the namesake, fish, and chips. Can’t remember the last time I’ve absolutely adored fish and chips this much. Super duper fresh, flaky, juicy, and breaded perfectly. Even the coleslaw and side veggies were not left out of the spotlight. Each having its own unique flavors and complexities of seasoning.
Outstanding job all around. I will definitely be back again and again! Kudos to the chef! Thank you for a great meal.

I had Breaded Shrimp with Fries and my husband had English Style Fish and Chips with Cod, and they were both great. But they had Hunt’s ketchup and not Heinz, and I was sooo disappointed 🙁 We split their special dessert for the day, Butterscotch Mud Pie, and was good but not great though. We sat at the first table right next to John Wayne’s corner.

My wife and I had a late lunch here today and it was great! We shared a specialty plate of coconut shrimp, tempera shrimp and buttered plain shrimp with fries and coleslaw. We also each had a cup of their homemade chowder, which was also excellent. Service was great, with all the staff wearing masks and maintaining social distancing as much as possible. We finished our meal with a delicious chocolate brownie. The prices might seem a bit high for Pahrump, but this meal was some of the best seafood I’ve ever had, on par with the pricey restaurants in Vegas! Good job!

Food was ready in designated time given. Food quality was excellent. I had the 2 piece fish platter with cole slaw and the seafood chowder. I had it prepared to go, as the dining area was quite full. Love the decor, will dine in next time! Give them a try!

Located behind the gas station on NV 160 & Mesquite. Looks to me as though they put out as little money as possible to start the place. I’m not sure what the connection to John Wayne is, but his picture is everywhere, plus tee shirts and other merchandise. The staff is great, nice, efficient and attentive. The fish is of good quality and tasted great, tarter was not overpowering. The french fries were over salted, even for my husband who salts everything. $13.99 for two pieces of fish and french fries, or coleslaw is too much for those of us on a fixed income. Had the menu been posted on the door we would not have entered. If the money is not your issue, go for it, just ask them to go easy on the salt.

We just recently tried this little restaurant and man we were not disappointed! The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and the food is awesome! I had a fish sandwich with fresh toppings served with French fries. My husband had the fish and chips with an amazing homemade tarter sauce. The fish was crispy but not greasy at all! Highly recommend
