There’s so many great places to eat at the market!
We finally tried Seattle dumpling co, and it was so good.
We love soup dumplings and these were some of my favorite. They came out the perfect temperature so you don’t scorch your mouth.
There was limited sauces for the counter, but it was just us so no big deal. They didn’t provide a dish to mix sauce for the dumplings, so I used the lid to the plastic container they came in. With they served them with some ginger. But, delicious

The first time I came across this hidden gem was two years ago. My cousin and I were just wandering, exploring every nook and corner of Pike Place Market. It turns out I had bookmarked this spot a while back and found it completely by accident, it was meant to be! Of course, we had to come back this visit because I still think about those fresh dumplings! Consistently delicious, I just couldn’t get enough! I’m veggie and they have several options for me, which I love.
Hidden just off one of the side corridors of Pike Place, Seattle Dumpling Co. is one of those gems you could easily walk past, but don’t. Follow the aroma of freshly steamed dumplings and you’ll find this cozy little space tucked by the glass windows leading to a patio with bright umbrellas. There’s a little wait, but I promise it’s worth it!
Their mushroom dumplings are flavorful, juicy, and packed with umami, exactly the kind of comfort food you want while exploring the Market. I also tried their veggie spring rolls, perfectly crisp on the outside and light on the inside, making them such a great combo with the dumplings. The dipping sauce adds that perfect tangy-savory punch to tie it all together.
It’s the perfect quick bite between exploring the chaotic market so comforting, delicious, and surprisingly peaceful once you sit by the window or out on the patio.
Definitely worth stopping by if you’re wandering Pike Place and craving something warm, savory, and satisfying!

First time at the Seattle Dumpling Co. It is definitely worth stopping by. Very small place but we were fortunate to have a spot to sit and enjoy our dumplings. There are spots to sit right outside if weather permits it or get your food to go and enjoy it outside while people watching at Pikes Market. Highly recommend this spot.

There are 2 ways to get here, the first through post alley and down the stairs and the other is through the door by Hellenika and go straight down the hallway.
After taxes it was roughly $15 for 10 dumplings which I didn’t think was that bad. The chicken filling was a bit mild but the chili oil provided did give it some flavor. Definitely recommend using the other sauces/condiments they have if you want a bit more flavor. Overall I would recommend to those visiting the market.

The first thing I noticed when I passed this place in Pike Place Market was someone making the dumplings by hand, which automatically won my favor. I ordered using the tablet and waited for it to be ready. I got a 10-piece pork napa dumplings, which were steamed dumplings. It was about $13 for the order, which is not too bad for 10 handmade dumplings. We waited about 10 minutes for them to be ready, I believe that they cooked them to order. The space to stand around is pretty small so most people placed an order then waited outside. The dumplings themselves were not as flavorful as I would have liked them to be. They are pretty light in color so something like dark soy sauce was not used, but I do prefer those more savory and flavorful type of dumplings. It also did not come with its own dipping sauce, I think there were some sauces inside but it was a little crowded so I did not get any. Overall, I think that a place that makes their own dumplings is worth supporting.

This is a very casual spot with a counter to eat at and outdoor dining at Pike Place Market. You order and pay on an electronic menu near the door. I had the Pork Bahn Mi. OMG! It was the best I ever had! The pork was perfectly seasoned and tender, it had just the right amount of delicious pate, the carrots and daikon were perfectly pickled, it had just the right amount of mayo, chili pepper and cilantro and the French bread, neatly melded with its contents, lended the perfect amount of crispy chewy delight. The perfectly balanced flavors still haunt my mouth. My ratings explained; damn good, excellent sandwich seemingly made with love, sincere staff, countertop and outdoor dining. It’s not 5 star service or 5 star atmosphere, but it doesn’t need to be.

It’s a pretty simple and small place and I like the idea of them being a woman owned business. We did enjoy the two items we ordered. Both Pork Dumplings and Pork XLB were very good. They tasted authentic and flavorful. But the skin of a few pieces of the dumplings were not fully cooked, which you should be able to see on the picture I posted.
I think the price was okay considering the location. Keep in mind there are only counter seats available indoors. There are some stone tables and seats outside but they look pretty messy.

Dumplings were very good but certainly not the best I’ve ever had. Wife loved the dry noodle but not really for me.
Almost no seating but we got lucky and got a 4 person seat outside.

Loved the dumplings and pork buns! Noodles are good but I would recommend their wonton, dumplings and pork buns over noodles (try them spicy). If they had udon noodles with their existing broth and recipe, I think it would be better. Overall, great experience. Good customer service but a little tight in the seating space.
