New fan of the shop! Everything from the store to the website to the team is awesome. I got to talk with the owner a few weeks ago and I wanted to support them – what better way than requesting a birthday cake for my partner. The cake turned out beautifully, we got the “classic chocolate” which was exactly the right amount of sweet for all of us. Looked beautiful, tasted great, and made my partner super happy.
On the smaller snackish end, if you are looking for something really sweet and tastes great, their magic bars are very good. Even as someone with not much of a sweet tooth, I still loved that bar.

Thank you to Kayla at Seatown Sweets for our beautiful and delicious wedding cake! I have always wanted a carrot cake for my wedding cake just like my parents had for their wedding day. Seatown Sweets has been my go-to for all things dessert for the past 8 years, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Her custom decorated sugar cookies are absolute perfection and have been a hit at every event, from birthdays and bridal showers to holiday parties and everything in between. Most of the time, I simply give her a theme and let her have full creative freedom, and she never disappoints. The designs are always beautiful, thoughtful, and beyond what I imagined, and they taste just as amazing as they look. Her consistency, creativity, and attention to detail are unmatched. The cake was absolutely delicious (not sure I’ve ever had a cake like it before) and their website is pretty high-tech, which was awesome! I submitted an email and got a response as quickly as they said I would (their website and emails answer basically all questions you may have), I had tried to order a custom cake but they couldn’t take anymore custom orders so they provided a link for their gender reveal cakes, which needed to be ordered a little less than a week ahead of time. I was so grateful that I found a place that was easy to start a conversation with, that had a very convenient time frame requirement, and had cute options. We did a small gender reveal and the cake was the center of the show, it was perfect – Seatown Sweets gave us a bucket list moment we didn’t even realize we needed! Thank you so much!!!

Wow! What an amazing customer service experience. I had a busy weekend of multiple parties and Seatown really made things easy and tasty. My orders were ready to go both mornings and the cake pops and cupcakes were beautifully done. Not only did they look incredible, the taste blew me away. We ordered gluten free and vegan which can be difficult to do well, but Seatown nailed it! Thank you!! We will be back.

I regret having to provide a one-star review, but I feel compelled to address my recent experience with Seatown Sweets. I ordered custom cookies and cake pops to enhance the dessert offerings for a graduation party. While I picked up the cookies at the scheduled time, I discovered that all of the frosting had transferred into the packaging, compromising their presentation altogether and some of the cookies were even falling apart. The packaging was inadequate, especially considering the luxury price associated with custom cookies and cake pops. This experience resulted in a complete waste of resources, and unfortunately, the owner did not offer any refund or even a partial refund. I will not consider placing another order in the future, and I cannot recommend this bakery.
Instead, I ended up giving away “The Cookie” from Metropolitan Market to each guest, which actually turned out to be a big hit and super affordable. I got some cute bags and put them in the bag with a sticker closure and they were perfect which Met Market provided to me for free.
I feel the need to add to my review because I believe the owner is quite dishonest and untrustworthy. I provided the owner with many photographs via email (more than what I posted on Google reviews) and kindly requested a partial refund—not even a full one—but my emails were ignored. The owner never got back to me and did not issue a refund even though she requested photographs from me.
I’ve noticed that since receiving several one-star and two-star reviews, they have begun asking customers who walk in to provide five-star reviews to improve their image.
When you invest so much time, energy, and money into creating something special for your party, you expect a bakery to deliver something equally special. Honestly, I could have made cookies with an 8 yr old that would turn out better than what I ordered from this bake shop. There are many other bakeries to choose from in the Seattle Metro area. The cookies from Metropolitan Market were a huge hit and no one even cared about the cookies from Seatown Sweets (as I said earlier the presentation was completely compromised so it wasn’t that enticing to lay out busted up cookies on a tray). It’s mind-boggling that the owner would act in such an unprincipled manner. If the owner reaches out by phone or email and provides a partial refund or a full refund for my order, I will definitely update my review and increase my star rating. Until then, I ask that you not support a bakery that doesn’t know how to problem solve in an ethical and principled manner.

We LOVE Seatown Sweets! We have gotten multiple cakes, cookies, and treats over the years! We now live very close to their location, and go down there for a nice little afternoon treat! We love their chocolate covered Oreos, s’mores cookies, cheesecakes (raspberry is amazing), cake pops, and the best GF chocolate chip cookies!!! We are obsessed!
