Lake City has some great shops on the Main Street, and this Argentinian Bakery, Sweets, and Coffee shop is one of the best! I have met Ariel twice, the owner – he is friendly, fast service, EXCELLENT coffee, empanadas, and the baked variety doesn’t look like anywhere I have ever been! Super delicious. The art on the walls really fits with this tight community. The feeling of the sea is so welcome in here. I gave away all the baked goodies I bought, and everyone said, ‘where did you get these??’ I highly recommend stopping in here, sit down, admire. I will be back! Thank you.

Impeccable empanadas — made fresh (and sold out) daily. They also have Argentinian sweets and thick crust pizza. If you come in the morning, they are making the dough and the empanadas are still warm from the oven. High quality ingredients and good vegetarian options like spinach and corn. Our favorites are the spinach and the spicy tuna. Oh, and the BEST chimichurri. We’ve tried duping it at home and theirs is just better.

We stumped upon this place when we were looking at cars nearby. The empanadas were amazing!! My favorite is the chicken one, because it is super juicy and flavorful. Both cheese and ham and beef are good too!! I would definitely come back here!!

We stopped by for breakfast and enjoyed the food. The beef and chicken empanadas were perfectly seasoned and had excellent, soft crust. The pastries were tasty as well and had a great texture. We tried the ham and cheese pizza and it was a huge, deep square slice for $7.
The staff was very friendly and environment was cozy. There was a huge selection of pastries to try so I’m sure I’ll find even more yummy treats on my next visit. Prices are very affordable.

Our first experience was fantastic. The food and customer service was excellent. I will definitely come again. And bring our children. I love to support local businesses. It’s so important to share culture and it felt like I was home.

Delicious Argentine empanada! It’s impossible to get them near Seattle, except for here. Please support this local business! Service is fast, efficient and friendly. Cafe is quiet, clean with an open bakery concept you can see their lamination process as they also make alfajores and croissants. If you don’t know what to order, I suggest getting the beef or chicken empanadas with a side of chimichurri (spicy and non spicy version of sauce) they offer vegetarian and breakfast options as well. This is a gem! Please don’t miss out.

Yum!! I tried all three veggie empanadas (spicy onion, corn, and spinach) and all were fantastic and super flavorful. Don’t forget to get the chimichurri!! Great service as well 🙂

I enjoyed an absolutely dreamy dulce de leche alfajore with melt-in-your mouth cookies and delicious filling. My dad can’t have dairy but reported that the coffee with oat milk was fantastic. The tarts look amazing, too!

Fresh and tasty! I had the breakfast scrambled egg, spinach, and cheese empanada, coconut custard pastry, and a Lemon tart. I’ll be back for more, delicious!

We happened upon this place in Lake City because parking was easier here than where we were trying to go. We saw Empanadas, alfajores and other delicious pastries and desserts and had to stop. The delicious smell as we walked through the door drew us in. We love empanadas and these are among the best we’ve ever had. We had the beef, 4 cheese and ham, and spinach and all were incredible. The chimichurri sauce was excellent. It was hard to choose a dessert so we didn’t and took some home. We will be back tomorrow.
