This place is usually on point when it comes to the bowls. This particular day was not the case. The rice was overcooked and very much mushy. I could barely mix my meat up in the rice. I damn near bent the fork back trying to get the rice. The steak was not seasoned or cooked to my liking. I thought the sauce would help, but it did not. I just ended up throwing it away. All in all I would still try them again.

I was very skeptical at first. It was not like any Japanese restaurant we have been too before. It had a fast food/express feel to it. The service was great. Staff was friendly and the building was clean. The spicy tuna roll was disappointing, having been made differently than what I’m used to. The steak bento box was good except for the edmame.. never been a fan of it, unless it has been shelled and is just the beans. The texture and stringiness of the shell is just too much. Overall, the food was decent. I wouldn’t make it my go to for a dine in meal, but if passing through and wanting to grab something on the go, would definitely try again.

I wasn’t going to make a review because I come to this location all this time, but today was the last time I give them a chance. I came in and order a medium chicken and shrimp bowl with a side of mushrooms And fried caramel cheesecake. This will be the male Cashier’s 3rd time ringing me up for a shrimp and chicken entree. I corrected him and said that this is his 3rd time doing this and that he needs to correct this because I know it was a price difference. Instead of trying to correct my order he stood to the side and ignore me, then he went to go talk to managers and owners and instead of them coming to ask me how I’m doing they stood behind the windows just looking at me and talking about me as I could tell. The young lady on the grill correct my order and made it a large instead of a medium and a young lady at the drive-thru window came over and assists I do appreciate the 2 young ladies.

The female cashier was not very welcoming. I explained it was first time there and she offered no suggestions…. actually, not for customer friendly! I got 3 little spring rolls that came to almost $5.00. after the cold welcome from the cashier inside and their prices, I think I’ll just stick with Ming Garden on Montgomery St.

Came in March 2nd, 2023, older woman at cashier was extremely rude and said nothing. Guy at the drive through was sitting on the counter where food was being laid. The entire staff were on their phones. Nobody in line yet i waited over 30 minutes for my order.
