Restaurant Review: Seasons 52, Norwood

We celebrated a double milestone last night at Seasons 52 in Norwood—my father’s 94th birthday and my stepfather’s 92nd. It turned out to be an excellent choice for a family blowout gathering.

Location & Accessibility
The restaurant is conveniently located in central Norwood, right next to The Capital Grille at Rookwood Pavilion. It’s very popular with the over-60 crowd and for good reason. Valet service is available, but there’s also a large self-park lot (though it fills quickly around peak dining hours, such as 5:30 p.m.). Importantly for our group, the space is completely handicap accessible, making wheelchair access easy.

Private Dining & Atmosphere
We had a small hiccup with our reservation—my wife hadn’t fully completed the private room booking—but the staff handled it gracefully. After a brief 15-minute wait, they seated all 14 of us in a private dining room. This turned out to be perfect for our group with several older guests, as the carpeting and curtains made the acoustics very friendly for those with hearing challenges.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with dark wood and textiles, low lighting, and an elegant, understated style. It feels warm and sophisticated without being stuffy.

Service
The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Our servers were attentive, efficient, and very pleasant. The manager and chef even came out personally to greet the birthday gentlemen, making them feel special with complimentary desserts. That thoughtful touch went a long way.

Food
The menu is one of Seasons 52’s strongest features. Every entrée is designed to stay under 600 calories, which is kind both to your waistline and your wallet. Between 14 people, we sampled nearly a dozen different dishes, and everything came out beautifully prepared and attractively plated.

Highlights included the sweet potato appetizer, which was especially delicious, and my smoked salmon salad, which was fresh, vibrant, and satisfying. The harvest chicken was another standout—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

Overall
If you’re looking for a centrally located, reasonably priced restaurant where you can take the whole family—including seniors and wheelchair users—Seasons 52 is a terrific choice. The combination of thoughtful service, delicious food, and a comfortable setting made for a memorable evening celebrating two incredible milestones.

Stopped in, had reservations.
Our table was ready right when we got there and Neil was our server.

He made great recommendations, and were so glad he was our server.

Cool thing about Seasons 52 is all their menu items are under 595 calories!

The grilled chicken breast was phenomenal.
The dry rubbed pork chop was awesome!

Old fashioned was excellent and the spiced apple infused bourbon cocktail was delicious.

I ordered the truffled risotto (not pictured), the gnocchi, and the Oreo mousse dessert.

The truffled risotto was fine, but it did arrive a bit cold and it was a little hard too. Unfortunately, this was my least favorite out of the dishes. The gnocchi tasted wonderful, and I think that the green onions really helped enhance both the taste and texture. As for the dessert, I absolutely loved the Oreo mousse and I think it may be my favorite part of the meal!

This was my first time my wife and I ate here, and wow it was incredible. From valet parking to waiting to be seated. The interior was beautifully designed and consumers were dressed up and dress casual. Once at our seat we had the nicest waitress. She was professional and reviewed the entire menu for us. I had the lamb and wife had the filet, everything was cooked to perfection. Then came the desserts, which typically we skip, however these came in tall elegant shot glasses. The perfect amount for anyone. I enjoy fine dining and this was by far better than Coopers Hawk, Eddie Merlots, J. Alexander’s and others. Would absolutely recommend for anyone and we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had a 25 minute wait on a Tuesday night dinner, because we did not have a reservation. That time was well spent deciding what to have for dinner. Since we had a time crunch due to a 7:40 pm Movie at the Esquire, we went with Napa Caesar Salad, 2 bowls of SHIO Ramen, and a skewer of Salmon served on a bed of cabbage. We began with the Napa Salad, well dressed in a Parmesan dressing w/ crispy garlic. The Shio Ramen showed up soon after. I was looking forward to the egg which was perfectly jammy. A tasty chicken broth accompanied by 2 slices of pork with squiggly ramen. I cheated, it’s not gluten free!! The Salmon skewer did not disappoint…melt in your mouth fish! Dipped it in the soy sauce, it is just perfect. Well, we made it out in time for our movie.
Do try this restaurant! Should not disappoint if you love Japanese.

Had an amazing dinner at Seasons 52! The rotisserie chicken was perfectly cooked — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The flatbreads were light, crispy, and loaded with fresh toppings — especially loved the mix of arugula, roasted peppers, and melted cheese.

The ambiance was classy yet cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Overall, great food, great vibes, and definitely worth coming back!

This was hands down the best dining experience Ive had in the Kentucky/Ohio area. We had the vineyard chicken that was tender and delicious. The “butterfish” was cooked perfectly and flaky. And the deserts were amazing and the extra effort made it that much more appreciated.

The scallops, salmon and trout were fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The seared ahi tuna was also excellent. Our server was friendly, prompt and very attentive. Desserts were prepared in small glass cups, just the right size and very tasty. Prices were reasonable, and a good value overall. This was our first experience at Seasons 52, and we will be back.

The food was very good and liked that we had quiet surroundings. So many restaurants are so loud the group cannot talk together, so really appreciated being able to converse. Loved the quaint and delicious mini desserts, enough to quench a sweet tooth and without having to take any of the dessert home. Gave service a 4 instead of 5 since our sides did not arrive until close to the end of our meal.

My first time going, and we were celebrating my birthday. There was no one at the host’s stand, so we were waiting. We were about to leave when the manager came to seat us. My sister asked were they short of staff and he said no I think she ( the host) went to the bathroom. That host never return. The ambience was nice, but some of the furniture needs to be updated or cleaned. Some of the chairs were stain. Our waitress was awesome, she explained the concept and specials and the birthday dessert/drink. Some of the food was good. The macaroni and cheese is bland and lacks cheese, the Ceasar salad had a lot of stem pieces and the croutons were old old. The green beans and asparagus also lacks flavor.
