I decided to visit this establishment for the first time after my appointment because I had a strong desire for some fish. The proprietor was very friendly and courteous, taking the time to answer any inquiries I had. I placed an order for the Perch dinner and added two chicken wings, and everything was prepared fresh. Upon arriving home and sampling the food, I was thoroughly impressed with its quality. The chicken and fish were cooked to perfection, evoking a sense of nostalgia for my grandmother’s cooking. I intend to return in the future to explore additional menu items. I highly recommend giving this establishment a try.

I cannot believe how delicious and fresh and warm everything is. I loved the whole experience, staff, food, and drinks. I had a “princess me down” with glitter and it was good! The bartender was a true delight with her pretty self! Come out and enjoy yourself.

This the second time I asked for something to be crispy and my chicken wasn’t. If you don’t do that say that when it’s requested. Also, I order a polish boy and I get home to damn near no sauce on it. I called several times to make a complaint no answer. I won’t be back.

Random Google search led me here on a drive through town… owner was extremely friendly and we chatted about food I make as well as prices… these prices are unmatched for the quantity AND quality of food recieved. You qill not come close anywhere on the portion sizes per price…. the ribs are tender and juicy with a great smokey flavor… the sauce has a great acidic kick that brings the cook on the ribs and the sauce flavor together… this reminds me of Louisiana bbq I’ve had on past travel and that was the best bbq I’ve had and this is close… Mac and cheese as well as collard greens are well seasoned and amazing… will definitely be back weekly

Highlights portion sizes of catfish and shrimp for the dinner were great! For the sides to be 5-7$ and they are the small top portion of the styrofoam travel containers is way over priced. The Mac n cheese just terrible. Like it’s a no. The corn muffin great however. Catfish I’ll give like a C. Crispy yes but soul food idea taste missed it by a mile. Along with the greens they are seasoned but missing the soul food idea taste. Everything was cooked well I will say just missing LOTS of flavor. And meal was 40$ like wouldn’t have paid 20$ for it.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was going to be good. I was greeted. The place was nice and clean. The vibes were good, definitely family friendly, but a good place to bring a date or friends. But the food, that’s what makes this place special. I’ve never had Mac, greens, and catfish that made me miss home. This place is where it’s at.
