Ordered takeout from this small bar/restaurant while staying in Northfield. I was in the mood for wings and it was difficult to find a place that looked like it had what I was craving. I found this restaurant and decided to give them a try based on other reviews and pictures. The wings did not disappoint! I got plain wings with two sides of sauce for dipping. They were nice and crispy but still juicy. Even after waiting 20 minutes to eat them since it was a takeout order, the wings were still piping hot and crispy. The sauces were flavorful and well made. I tried the Fried Yuca as a fry substitute and these were also very good. They had a nice crispy crunch while being soft on the inside. I also sampled my wife’s Cajun dry rub wings and they were also very tasty. Give this small establishment a shot because I have found that these smaller establishments often have excellent food!

Awesome food. Easily the best burger that I’ve had. Great wings. Awesome fries and appetizers. Best prices! (That best burger costs no more than 6 bucks, and that’s for one of their special burgers). Great drink prices and specials. Always fun. Love the bar tenders! Definitely stop in if you are looking for cheap drinks (good selection, considering) and some great food. Very home-town bar aesthetic.

Me and my daughter found this place online while at the casino. The food was really good or waitress was super nice. We got alot of really good food for a really good price. We had 2 drinks, mozzarella sticks, bacon cheese fries, a bacon cheese burger (it was huge) with fries and a chicken sandwich with onion rings for $41. Me and my daughter both agreed they had some of the best fries we’ve ever had. We will definitely stop again when we go back up that way. It’s now called Cantina El La.

I rated my Cantina Burger as 5 stars, but I wouldn’t recommend it for eating at the bar.
The taste was excellent, but the presentation is that it’s kind of a soup sandwich. Very drippy.
Fries were excellent, service quick and with a smile.
The bar has one of those cushions on it, which will not allow you to be close to your food. Since the sandwich was seriously dripping, it made for a difficult lunch.
I think the Cantina Burger needs to be redesigned. I love the unique taste, but close to a failure on experience, especially at the bar.

Stopped for lunch without having been here before, and I’m really glad we did. My sister had a cheeseburger, I had the Rodeo Burger and we shared the killer Cajun fries. Our food was fresh, hot and exceptionally good. Missy, our waitress and bartender was just who you want waiting on you. She is personable, attentive and fun. The jukebox was rockin’ some great afternoon tunes too..We will both be back with friends and family.

8.21.21 @906pm – phone service: young lady was nice that answered the phone. I asked if the kitchen was open, and she asked was i dining in or takeout. well im calling in… ♀️. But she said they were now only selling fried foods. she was nice, but still. If you stop cooking at 10, and its nine, you should be able to cook everything. ♀️

The food is always hot and delicious! Customer service is awesome and the owner is always pleasant. The bathrooms are clean which makes you definitely want to eat there. It’s a wonderful place to gather friends and family at!
