The best fish and chips we’ve had this year for sure. The batter was the perfect texture and consistency. The fish was cooked perfectly, and seemed quite fresh. Great classic diner vibes. We arrived around 11:45 a.m. and had our food in front of us by noon. We’ll likely come back again while we’re visiting in the area this week. 10/10 experience all around!

Full disclosure, I have not yet tried their seafood! But if it’s anything like their ice cream, they will certainly live up to their “world’s best clams” claim! I have been coming here over the years for about 25 years and the ice cream has always consistently been the best soft serve ice cream I’ve ever had (and I even won an ice cream eating contest when I was 8). It’s so creamy and delicious! And the prices are good. Pictured is a large hot caramel sundae with nuts and a cherry. A wonderful treat on your way home after a hot beach day. Thanks to this place for being such a staple in my beach memories
Also – we came on a Monday, and only the ice cream window was open. Restaurant open Tuesday-Sunday. At this time only outdoor seating was available.

Great seafood spot, large fish in platter, great quality. It was a little rushed and batter was a little mushy but the fries saved the day, delicious. My mom really enjoyed her clams aswell. Lots of outside picnic tables

We had visited this location on our last stay at White point. That was during the pandemic and sadly we couldn’t exactly get the full experience. The food was great and everything then but driving back, it lost some of it’s flavor. This time however we were able to eat inside and it was extremely fresh. My wife must have spoken about 10 minutes about how fresh and crunchy the fries were. The fish was so fresh it was extremely flaky and delicious. The kids enjoyed their hamburgers much better than they did last time. This is definitely a place where if you’re going to eat here, you have to eat it as soon as they prepare it. There’s a night and day difference between eating at the location when the food is fresh versus eating after about 20 minutes of driving.
The food is absolutely phenomenal

Came here on 2 separate occasions — 1st for ice cream after dinner and then for some clams and fish and chips. Food was great, ice cream was amazing. Highly recommend.

We ordered scallops and fries, lobster sandwich and grilled cheese and fries. We were there just after the lunch rush and somehow it took over 45 mins for our order. Horrible service, not even a sorry it took so long. Lobster sandwich (not a lobster roll and not a decent size) was on wonder bread and for $20?! Fried scallops were decent. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place…

The only thing remotely favorable I can say about these fried clams is they were somewhat affordable. I would be hard pressed to say anything else positive about them.
If they had any bellies at all, I couldn’t find them. They tasted like chewy old clam necks. Think Howard Johnson’s without the bellies, though that is doing a disservice to HJ. There were some black bits where there should have been bellies, not at all sure what that might mean.
They actually have a sign touting that they have the world’s best fried clams. They don’t. They really, really, really don’t!
I did my research on this restaurant before coming here and it has good reviews. People say the clams are excellent. I have no explanation for this. The only thing I can come up with is that these particular reviewers have never tasted fried clams before. These clams, and I use the term loosely, were easily the worst I ever had. Fried clams should burst with flavour, these did not burst with anything but disappointment. They were dried out, tough and flavourless. The entire time I was trying to eat this meal I kept hearing my mother’s voice telling me to chew my food 25 times. Sorry Mom, sometimes that isn’t enough. My jaw was tired.
The service was not good and the only smiles the staff had were for each other.
I believed the hype so needless to say I was terribly disappointed. This review is so others adjust their expectations and not count on great food.

Lunch stop on a drive around Queen’s County. Lobster Sandwich is pricey, but worth it for the amount of filling and the flavour! The scallops and fries are good too. Fresh, flavourful, and sweet like you’d expect from fresh Digby scallops. Fries were well cooked, nice and crispy. Good coleslaw.

We tried their seafood plate. It had one piece fish, shrimps, scallops, clams and lobster. Everything was breaded, except for the lobster. The clams and scallops were great. The shrimp and fish were good. The lobster was not good, it was tough and leathery with no taste. They’ve a nice outdoor patio to sit. It was very busy even on a weekday but we got our order within 15 to 20 mins.

Great little place – dtr. and I had clams, fish & chips. Fish was very good, crispy batter and not too much, clams were well cooked but not the best ever.
Portions were fine, and service excellent. There was a group of about 10 arrived ahead of us but we still had our meals within 15 minutes.
A bit pricey but it’s supply and demand – they don’t have much competition.
Will certainly return but probably pass on the clams.
