Their private room was very accommodating. Had an engagement celebration dinner in October and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience. They allowed us to decorate room and the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the SeaSalt for private group events when in Cape May. Overall a great dining experience!

What a delightful & delicious dinner in Cape May. Everything was well thought out pairings of flavors! The steak was perfect cooked and the potato cake was heavenly. Drinks were unique and tasty. Prices were fair for the exceptional quality of the meal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stopped into SeaSalt Restaurant for drinks and a couple of appetizers and had a great experience. We sat in the bar area, which had a nice, relaxed vibe.

We tried the panzanella salad and the ahi tuna tacos off the bar menu, both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Perfect for a lighter bite before dinner.

Our server was excellent, attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving at just the right pace.

Definitely a spot we’d return to for a casual drink, apps, or even a full dinner next time we’re in Cape May!

We went to the SeaSalt Restaurant for my birthday dinner this year and was not disappointed! The service was friendly and welcoming, the food was DELICIOUS!!
It’s a bit hard to find, it is inside a hotel and there is no signage in the parking lot to direct you. We weren’t sure if we were in the right place at first, but we wandered a bit and found it just fine.
We’ve already recommended the SeaSalt to family/friends, and this will be a regular stop for us whenever we have something to celebrate

This might have been one of the best dinners of my life. Every single thing we ate was phenomenal, from the focaccia bread course to the desserts. We ordered the octopus appetizer, which was cooked perfectly with a stunning romesco sauce. For entrees, we ordered the fish of the day, which was an amazing branzino, the lamb cavatelli, the French chicken, and the Cabernet short rib. All were spectacular!! John, our server, was knowledgeable and attentive, and even arranged a special shout out for my in-laws who were celebrating 33 years of marriage! Seriously, if you are looking for a special dinner in South Jersey, look no further.

Crab omlette was bland. Brioche French toast wasn’t brioche bread, and the added raspberries and cream cheese didn’t actually include cream cheese; so we had to ask for it, then it came back with some kind of heavy whipping cream, which took 10 minutes to add. Disappointing, but nice quiet outdoor space.

Went Ocean Club for our anniversary on Dec 12 2025. Next morning decided to try Sea salt as it was right there. Pleasant surprise! Mine the crab omelet with side of hash… shockingly good! Hers the smoked salmon omelet. Again: VG!
So if you are reading this then we give 2 thumbs up.

Usually hotels’ restaurants are just some place you go if you are too lazy to go somewhere else. I decided to go against all odds and drive to go to this one, because there were some nice pictures on Google, just to find out that it is just what it was supposed to be. The food was not bad, but it was not good also and there were only two main courses available on the whole menu. The small bites were limited and they brought the chicken fingers with no side ( despite the indication on the menu), which was corrected after we complained. The service and environment were fine, but I’d not go back again based on the menu.

Fabulous food from a 5 star chef! We had a wonderful meal and a great waiter, ate outside bc the music was amazing but a bit too loud indoors for our conversation ! I bout a gift certificate for a friend who had a house in cape may! Can’t wait to return to this restaurant!
