Such a disappointment for a beautiful venue across from the beach. Chef refused to accommodate a simple appetizer request. Service so slow and as you can see we were the only couple in the entire restaurant that holds at least 125 people. Manager non-existent despite having his head down at the podium the entire 2 hours we were there. Never checked on this only table, never noticed how slow service was and not the kitchen’s fault. Wanted it to be so much better.

Really a disappointment. Things started okay with a pleasant gazpacho and fair octopus appetizer.

Best meal I’ve had in Cape May. The chef is incredible and his presentation is pure art. The view of the ocean is breathtaking as well.

Absolutely incredible. From the live pianist to the desert, everything was just perfect. The drinks are on point, the appetizers were amazing ( lobster Mac and cheese and truffle fries) and the entrees were mind blowing. The presentation of the dishes were literally a form of art and the flavors of the presentation sauces incorporated into the meal perfectly. I’d give them ten stars if I could. We’ll be back in the future without a doubt. Hands down the best dinner I’ve ever had. Thank you SeaSalt and staff! This was the perfect way to end a vacation.

Had Risotto for an appetizer, seafood bisque and French Frenched Chicken for entree, wife had Herb Salmon, everything was incredible, made an observation that there is no salt and pepper on the tables, and honestly it wasn’t needed. The hostess was super nice and a good conversational.

Perhaps Seasalt excels in other areas or meals, but for breakfast, it fell short of being an extraordinary dining experience.

Overall, nice but very pricey and very small portions. The atmosphere is ok, across the street from the beach but all you can see are cars driving by and sand dunes. It’s a family friendly eatery so I wouldn’t suggest bringing a date there for a romantic night. That said the food is tasty and the service is good but I doubt you will feel satisfied with just an appetizer and an entre.

Slow service, food was good. We were not there at a very busy time (10am) so I’m not sure why everything took so long. Eggs Benedict were very good, the rest was nothing special.

Food was good. Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve had in quite a while. A little pricy for the portion size. Staff was friendly, but a bit on the slower side.

I have been coming to Cape May for 40 years and I have been to many restaurants, however,. it pains me to say that the Sea Salt was the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. Myself and five others had dinner there . The prices are ridiculously high, the food was, substandard and pretentious.
