It’s my first time to come to this restaurant! The server is not bad! The whole dining experience can only be three stars. The steak is great. I don’t like other dishes. Personally, I don’t like it, because there will always be people who like and dislike a delicious food! We used to swipe the card to pay the bill, but no one told us that we would have to pay an additional fee by swiping the card! I think this is very unreasonable!

We went for a Wine Night pairing. When I say the food was fantastic…. chef’s kiss!! We owe all of that to Laney!!! We called ahead of time to check about dietary restrictions before we bought tickets to the event. My wife is allergic to shellfish and there are various things I can’t eat. She assured us that they are usually accommodating. The way this girl almost threw herself on top of my wife’s shrimp-ridden hoe cake… I’m exaggerating a little, but she really saw a shrimp hoe cake in front of my wife and was like “No. There’s an allergy here.” It was very much seen and appreciated. Thank you, Laney, for making our night special!! Chef Spencer was also a delight and made sure to come around to all the tables to ask if we were enjoying the food. 10/10

This was a highly rated restaurant online. However, my experience was much less than top rated. The restaurant at it’s price level was worn from the worn painted concrete floor to the corroded bathroom fixtures that came with a strong urine smell. That coincided with a watery tasting French onion soup, and the less than tasty grilled carrots. The bright side was that the 8 ounce sirloin was thick and tender with a good seasoning. I would have expected an excellent meal at this price point but it was just mediocre. SAD.

We go to Seared every year for Valentine’s Day. They usually have a 3 course meal that is divine. Everything is always perfect!

Long time listener, first time caller… or reviewer I guess. Anyway, Seared is one of the few actual places left in Greenville with solid food, a great ambiance and incredibly professional bar staff. I thoroughly enjoy the French Onion soup, with some added broth because I like to stand out. It is a perfect place for a relaxing drink, and a good crowd of bar patrons that like to engage in fun, witty banter. I am constantly impressed by the ladies tending bar, they always remember me and address me in a welcoming and “warm” manner. The difference in ordinary and extraordinary is just that little “extra” and Seared has got it. 10/10

Bailey was great; but the kitchen lacked the performance that I expected from a steakhouse charging 25 for the cheapest steak on the menu. Our table ordered 3 medium rare steaks and one medium. One mid rare was perfect, one was mid well, and mine was closer to well done than mid well. The medium was closer to med rare than either of the 2 “med rares”. When I sent mine back, the recook they fired me was closer to blue than even rare, so I had to get them to cook it up more and it ended up being medium, which I went with as my family was almost done eating. There was also a hair on my plate.

French onion soup was delicious but was way more onion than broth.

Service (Bailey) and the tunes were impeccable however. Just wish the cooks used thermometers

Went here for the first time while visiting my daughter before she start school. All our food was disgusting. We had to send my son steak back it was not fully cooked. I asked for a cesar salad and the dressing taste like mayonnaise. Service was extremely slow. It was only 2 other tables being occupied. Our waiter was nice and friendly bless her heart. We arrive around 2:15 in the afternoon. Very expensive for a family of four our bill was $135.

Got seated immediately. They did not have the wine of our choice from the menu. Their wine selection was very subpar, especially to serve with $40 steaks. Our filet was not a prime cut. It was cooked to order but was stringy, way too thick, and had an awful taste. Got 2 little baked potatoes instead of a regular size potato. Potatoes were barely done enough to eat but they were not fully cooked and not soft. Salad was the best part of meal but it wasn’t very desirable either. I definitely will not go back.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great. The ambiance was great, from the time you walked in.

The hosts took good care of us and our waiter, Derrick from “Trinidad” made us feel at home and welcomed.

Now on to the food, we had 2 steaks, shrimp and grits and everything was cooked to perfection.

I highly recommended this place, they have some of the best steaks in Greenville.
