Burger was great, enjoyed the waffle fries as well though I personally like them to be a bit more crispy. Service was good but it did seem like once it got a bit busier, there was not enough staff to keep up with it at times. Can get a bit loud as well with the place mostly full as it’s small. Would go back!

My wife and I came here with some friends for a date night. We did a build your own burger we added cherry peppers and it was delicious it came out hot and juicy. They had a good amount of customization options with out being overwhelming. For dessert we got the skillet cookie and it came out hot, the cookie was soft and the Oreo whipped cream was awesome! I would absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for a really good burger for here! Hopefully you get Hannah she was so nice and accommodated our special drink requests.

The burgers were tasty, but they weren’t quite amazing. The drinks were also good, though not spectacular.
I’d definitely go back, but I won’t be counting the days or checking the calendar to make sure I don’t miss it again.
The staff were super friendly and polite. The prices were fair.

This is the first subpar review I have ever left. I have never been here before and I am not from the area. I was looking for somewhere that had a great burger and a higher end bourbon/whiskey selection. Sear came up on a top 5 for my search criteria and was about a 15 minute detour from my route home so I gave it a shot. I got there just after 7 on Friday. I found it a little strange that I had to write my name on a peice of paper to be seated at a place advertising better quality whiskey (look at the list, they don’t belong in that restaurant). I was seated within 10 minutes. I noticed a few regular suspects at the bar (Weller, Blanton’s, EH Taylor, so on). Then I noticed a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle on the top shelf and figured I had found a honey hole but I didn’t leave with that feeling. After I was shown my table, it took a while for the server to come by (they were a bit busy at the time but a quick check in goes a long way). I ordered a drink and after it came back, a burger. On the menu on the upper right hand corner it shows -burgers can be grilled or chicken. My burger got dropped and it wasn’t how I ordered it and that there may have been a mix up with another table. I had touched my burger so that was brought back but the other one was on the honor system that he didn’t touch it . The burgers are apparently “all smash burgers” no grilled option exists. They come out on quarter sheet pans with parchment paper. The burger was still not as ordered and by the time it was made right it was cold (at that point I had been there for an hour and I just decided to deal with it). The food, atmosphere, and whiskey selection are all misaligned. The staff was kind so I didn’t want to be “that customer” on a Friday but after not having a burger for a while and being excited for a good one, I was only left with a bubbly belly and disappointment.

Had a wonderful dinner at Sear last night! The Burgers were the absolute star of the show. The “SEAR-iously spicy “ and “The Popper” had more flavor packed into every bite than any burger I’ve had in MA. The drinks were delicious, and don’t break the bank! Can’t wait to come back and try more.

Sear Burger & Whiskey absolutely blew me away. The smash burgers here are hands down the best I’ve ever had, perfectly crispy edges, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. I ordered the SEAR-iously Spicy burger and it was phenomenal.

The bartender Hope was also amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better!

On top of that, the alcohol menu has a ton of great options, especially if you’re into whiskey. Everything about the place feels intentional and well done.

I found this just ok. Burger was overcooked and not tasty. Realized after I got it they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked. It was very well done. I had the Swiss Burger. The apps were ok, a bit greasy. There’s not a lot of options on the menu.

Good selection of whiskey, etc. Flights are predetermined, though. You can’t build your own.

So go for the whisky, not the food.

I don’t not expect the best Tacos I’ve had in 6 months to be at a Burger Bar.

Ordered burgers online with side order of sweet potato fries from Sear place. Picked the order and when opened the bag home realized I was missing the fries. Called the place and explained I am missing part of my order, the person on who picked up the phone just hanged up. I drove back and my fries got pulled out of the kitchen with barely sorry. Burgers were below average; fries were just ok. Burgers were placed in bigger box and were all over. The customer service was nonexistent. Very disappointed. Would not go back or recommended.
