I came on President’s Day 2026. I like the overall vibe of this place. It’s an all-you-can-eat hot pot + K-BBQ place. It’s colorful, upbeat, and there is a giant screen playing K-pop music videos. Conveyer belts serve a multitude of free side dishes. $24 for lunch, $35 for dinner.

I thought the service was sub-par. It took a while for my soup to come out, and each meat order took longer and longer to arrive. I felt like my server started pushing me out after my 6th tray of meat to make way for new guests, even though I had 20 more minutes of “time” left to eat.

UPDATE: They took a long time to bring out the meat when I went this time and the staff were very grumpy. They still offer delicious side dishes and had dragonfruit, but really disliked the service.

Probably my favorite Seapot restaurant in the Bay. Slightly smaller than the Sunnyvale location, but they offer more variety in terms of side dishes with fruit, dim sum, and other prepared foods.

In terms of meats and soup options, there are so many good ones to choose from. The thai pot is quite unique, but I love the healthy herb. For an AYCE place, the price is very reasonable at $34 (for dinner and holidays)

The staff are very friendly, attentive, and the conveyor belt full of sides has lots of options with some delicious cakes.

We enjoyed seapot a lot! I’ve seen it all over IG with the conveyor belt convienece for getting veggies. I thought it would be a gimmick, but it actually helps a lot with being able to try new things and also to get things easily. Service was also great as well. Our waiters and waitresses are very nice and helpful.

They play great music and have a nice bar for you to post up at if you are waiting for a table.

The quality meat was really good. I would say it’s the top tier quality compared to other local businesses.

The sukiyaki broth was great. The curry one is good, but it can get tiring after a while to have that curry flavor embedded in all your foods.

I would like to also highlight the strawberry cake. It was incredible. I never get sweets at these types of places, but they knocked it out of the park with this one.

Their sauce bar is extensive. You can make an endless amount of sauces. My sauce recipe is:

One scoop house sauce , ponzu sauce

Two scoops bean paste

One scoop chilli oil and one scoop garlic

Five stars especially if you’re new to the “hot pot” experience. This place is legit, they have a carousel going around with food and it’s super clean.

I’ve tried many hotpot places, and compared to others, this one is just okay—the broth isn’t the most flavorful. But somehow, I always find myself coming back. I think it’s because of the friendly staff, who make the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.
Another thing I really appreciate is that this is an all-you-can-eat spot with a time limit, I never feel rushed while eating. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great place for family and friend gatherings.
It does get pretty packed during dinner time, so it’s a good idea to add yourself to the Yelp waitlist before you go.

Seapot is a five-star experience when it comes to service. The meats are tender and delicious, and there’s a wide variety of options on the revolving trays. The only downside is the ice cubes—they leave a strange taste in both sodas and waters, which makes you hesitant to order anything with ice. The toro is really fatty, so if you’re not a fan of that, be cautious. On the bright side, the Thai tom yum soup base is fantastic. I also love their sauce and dessert areas, although the strawberries were super sour. Overall, great spot, just a couple of small tweaks could make it even better.

Wow – hot pot and barbecue all-you-can-eat for less than $45! I only wanted bbq but because one person at our table of 6 wanted both, we all had to order it too. It was only an extra $5 so no big deal BUT it was a lot of food. Love the rotating plates of food that come by your table on a conveyor so I sat next to it. For gluten-free diners, they have rice noodles and gf broths. The buffet of condiments had so many sauce options, sides, veggies and my favorite….sesame balls. Found out they have a karaoke dining room! Now that would be a fun idea for a family Thanksgiving!

Seapot San Mateo is a much better dining experience than the one in Daly City. We went on a weeknight after work and we’re seated right away. The server was friendly and attentive. Only issue was they turned off the grill before we were done and we had to wait for them to turn it on again to continue our dinner.

Good spot! You have to come in right when they open though or plan to wait like 45 minutes. They’re always busy! Food is good though. Making your own sauce is so fun, that’s my favorite part. It has a loud and lovely atmosphere with a big screen that plays videos. You’re paying a bit for the experience, but the food is high quality. Have come back twice now, the Thai pot and miso broths are our favorites. We also prefer the ribeye.

Pretty good all you can eat hot pot place. They have a fun conveyor belt system to get lots of small dishes. My kids love grabbing stuff off of it. The food over all is decent quality. Pricing is fine.
