We went to the carts for dinner after a long day. I really enjoy fish and chips but am often disappointed with the seasoning and flavor of the fish. This was a wonderful experience. I got the combo platter with clams, shrimp, cod, and steelhead. Across the board the fry was great, not too greasy and a nice crunch. The shrimp were large and so good! The steelhead and cod were delicious as well. I loved it all and will definitely be going back.

Always looking to support local business especially in my area of Portland but this was the most uneventful disappointment for the price I have ever experienced.
I ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich for $15 which I expected shrimp to be spilling out of the sandwich but instead it came with 3 fried shrimp cut and spread out with raw cabbage (no dressing) and hardly any sauce. It was so dry and will unfortunately not be going back for the price and quality it’s like they are taking advantage of the community.

Love this place! I love their taco combo with fish and shrimp – SO GOOD! It’s my regular go-to at this pod. Filled with perfectly fried fish and shrimp, plus tons of flavor. The staff is always so sweet and willing to go the extra mile. Priced appropriately for quality seafood!

Absolutely delicious. We had the shrimp and fish tacos—fresh and spicy. Shared the combo plate with everything in it! Dill in the tartar sauce brings it next level. Not sure what the batter is but wow! Loved every bite.

Possibly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had, the chips are huge and unappetizing, the cod was not particularly fresh and a touch overcooked. At $19, which I consider to be expensive for a food cart, I was expecting a pretty good meal, but I would not try it again.

The shrimp tacos at Seal and Fish and Chips were amazing! The shrimp were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The toppings were fresh, and the tortillas were soft and warm. Definitely a must-try if you’re a fan of tacos! If you take anything from what I said, you’ve gotta try the shrimp tacos or the sliders!

For a food cart the price is steep but it’s worth it. I had the halibut fish and chips and my friend had the calamari. Both were excellent

I paid $20 for the “house special”, which was basically a massive loaf of bread with the tiniest possible portion of cod, and some sauerkraut. It wasn’t terrible, but I would think that a $20 fish sandwich would at least prominently feature fish. Also, a side was not included, which just made it feel more like I wasted my money.
I had to wait over 25 minutes for my food, which was pretty disappointing, and I’d recommend Havana Station if you’re looking for a good sandwich at the Brooklyn Carreta. Sealand gets two stars still because the bit of fish that I had was actually pretty good, and so was the dill sauce- but definitely not worth paying $20+ tip for.
