Food was so good! The variety of fish was excellent and the many ways they prepare the fish is so good! You can have it fried, charcoal grilled, butterfly with crab and lobster its amazing! The service was excellent very kind and generous people, treated us like family! The mint black arabic tea at the end was so delicious and such a wonderful surprise! The parking is a bit tough on weekends but so worth it!!! We will be back again and again! You must try this place its a gem!

My 1st time there with family. The fresh seafood was amazingly tasty. They have a variety of fish for what anyone would want.. The fish orata, Mediterranean fish is a dish I had it was so good. The food was beyond delicious, every dish was bursting with freshness and flavor. The seafood was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection. You could tell everything was prepared with care and love. From the grilled shrimp and calamari to the branzino and seafood rice, each bite was an explosion of Mediterranean goodness. The variety on the menu was incredible …from hot and cold mezzes to a wide range of fish and shellfish options, there was something for everyone.

The staff were amazing, attentive, genuinely friendly, and clearly proud of what they serve. They took the time to explain dishes, make thoughtful recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. You could feel the passion behind their service.

Overall, Seagull Restaurant exceeded every expectation. It’s rare to find a place that combines authentic flavor, beautiful presentation, top-notch service, and a welcoming environment so seamlessly. I left with a full heart and an even fuller stomach …and I can’t wait to come back!

Good restaurant with a nice Egyptian vibe. The food and atmosphere were good. However, they automatically add a 15% mandatory tip to the bill and still ask for an additional tip, which felt a bit excessive. There’s also a 3% credit card surcharge, so keep that in mind when paying.

Love having an authentic Egyptian (alexandrian) place right in Paterson. The food is so flavorful and not done like anything I’ve had at any other seafood restaurant. The fish is fresh, the recipes are unique and the service was great.

Seagull Seafood Restaurant is THEE spot for grilled seafood — absolutely the best I’ve ever had! Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. And don’t sleep on their mint lemonade — it’s the most refreshing, flavorful drink I’ve ever tasted. Great food, great vibes, great service. Highly recommend!

I had high expectations going for the first time after seeing all the reviews and as a seafood lover but honestly was disappointed. Food was lacking flavor, rice was dry, service was very slow we had to wait a while to even get the check! maybe it was a one time off thing but I’m not sure if i will go back again!

This correspondence addresses a highly unsatisfactory dining experience that occurred during our recent visit. While a previous experience at this establishment was generally pleasant, this latest occasion was profoundly disappointing, resulting in us electing to leave before receiving our meal.
Regrettably, this incident has led to our decision not to dine at this restaurant ever again.

The issue centered on a simple dietary request. My children do not consume brown rice, and during our previous visit, the owner graciously accommodated our request to substitute it with white rice.
However, during this visit, our initial request to the waiter for white rice was met with a direct and unhelpful refusal delivered with an unaccommodating demeanor.

Seeking a resolution, I approached the counter and requested to speak with the owner. Instead of fulfilling this request, an alternate staff member intervened and attempted to handle the matter. When I explained the request, I was curtly informed, and with an unhelpful attitude, that white rice could not be prepared due to staffing limitations.

Subsequently, another individual joined the conversation and immediately and emphatically dismissed the possibility of preparing white rice. At this point, I decided to cancel our order.
Immediately after I stated my intent to leave, the staff member who had previously refused the request reversed his stance and offered, “It’s okay, we will make the white rice.”

This sudden change was perplexing. It is frustrating to receive significant resistance for a minor request, only to have the offer extended moments after we had decided to depart.

We proceeded to gather our belongings and exit the premises. As we were leaving, the owner appeared and, rather than intervening, waited until we were outside the restaurant to inquire about the situation. The owner offered to rectify the issue, but at that point, the accumulated negative experience rendered the gesture insufficient and untimely.

I strongly recommend a review of staff training regarding customer service, handling of minor requests, and communication protocols, especially concerning requests to speak with management.

Second time coming here and I was absolutely impressed by the quality of food and service provided! Definitely coming back again! We went with the combination platter with branzino singari style. Can’t forget the shrimp scampi to the side! The mint lemonade is a must have as well. Thank you Seagull for your hospitality and delicious food!

This was a clear case of being ripped off. The family meal was missing the 6 Shrimp that were supposed to be included, and the added lobster was ridiculously small—basically the size of a shrimp. Completely unacceptable for the price. I strongly warn others to double-check their orders and think twice before coming here. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.
