Went Thursday evening 6pm. I had the blackened shrimp po’ boy with fries and spinach. The po’ boy was loaded, drizzled with a remoulade sauce, and delicious. Fries were better than average, but the spinach…if you don’t like spinach, you will!
Service was quick and friendly. Nice atmosphere but the business was slow. I hope that’s not always the case.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Beer is always ice cold. For someone that doesn’t eat seafood, this is still a must stop. The chicken is NOT the normal crispy frozen chicken like every other seafood restaurant. I’m in love with the flavor of their chicken and fries. We go in big groups as well as small groups and always get seated and treated fast with the amazing staff. Nothing better then a train beer with good music on over the juke box

Pleasantly surprised by the spices of the selection of foods and the indulgent creamed spinach. The blackened and fried shrimp were exceptionally prepared and the crab cakes took me back to the East coast flavor I miss so much.
Definitely a contender for Gainesville staple. This seafood restaurant is what this city has been missing and I will return!!!

New place. Cute inside and could have a good vibe. Decided to try it out and showed up but they closed their kitchen over 1 hour before closing. Came back second time because it is so cute. Food was meh. Got shrimp scampi and it tasted like frozen shrimp tossed in butter. Even had some freezer burn. 1 hour before close they were wanting to clean up my plates and glass. Asked if they were closing and the he said yep we have the place ready to close 30 minutes early so we can walk out the door.
Small town needs more places that encourage sense of community and friendship. Didn’t get that vibe. Not likely to be back.

We came in for the first time tonight . Our waitress was very friendly and made sure to answer any questions we had . However we were not impressed by the food . It lacked flavor and $16.00 for one little piece of fish , 4 shrimp , 4 hushpuppies and a hand full of fries is not worth the price . I just wanted to respond to the owners reply. We were by no means looking for a free meal I can assure you, and I never said the food was cold and we didn’t have any to go boxes .

Food was nothing to really brag about. Young lady that waited on us was very kind, prompt and professional. Atmosphere was okay. We were there as soon as it opened, so not a lot going on. Disappointed that sodas are by the can instead of by the glass with refills. Hushpuppies are counted as a side instead of being with the meal. The amount of food that you get for $16 a plate is not worth it. A huge let down after all the hype we had heard and read about.Sorry, but we won’t be back. ,

We wanted to like this place! Unfortunately the food was pretty bland, especially the catfish and the Trainwreck quesadilla. The bean salad was tasty though. We also ordered 2 draft beers and they came in different sized cups. The waitress tried to tell us that the bartender told her they hold the same amount… In the future, do not try to tell 2 engineers that 2 very different sized mugs hold the same volume.
