So I’ve ordered a few times for delivery and this time was by far not a good time. The catfish was undercooked and soggy. The grits came cold and lumpy in which I had to reheat myself. I can say I usually have a good experience when ordering. I always request condiments in the bag but for some reason they’re never in the bag so if you order for delivery make sure to have your own condiments on hand.

The food here use to be freaking amazing(back when the owner was cooking) ever since then the food has gone to pure crap. I just ordered Rasta pasta and it has a ridiculous amount of black pepper!! Every spoon has a fist full of black pepper!! Either fire that chef or train him better because this ain’t it. This was truly my last time ordering from this establishment for good!!!

Odered off of ubereats. Got bbq wings, fried catfish with mac n cheese and greens. The fish was good, not overly seasoned but not plain either, and not too crispy like id like but not soggy. The wings were simple bbq wings, bbc sauce was light flavor, wings were not crispy, barely seasoned, but it was okay. The mac again was okay, not wowed but still worth the money. And im very picky about my mac. The greens were also just okay. Overall 7/10. Would order again. Everything had flavor but not much. Just right id say, I guess to be safe and considerate for all customers

This was my third time visiting Seafood Soul & Tingz, and honestly, the vibe has been the same every time. Nobody greets you when you walk in, not the workers or the owner. The energy just isn’t welcoming at all. You only get spoken to when it’s time to order, there’s never a “Hey, welcome in!” or anything friendly to make you feel comfortable.
I usually order the same meal, but this time I tried something different, and it could’ve used a little more seasoning, especially for the price.
As a Afro-Latina woman living in a mostly Latin neighborhood, I really love that there’s a Black-owned soul food spot close by. But you’d expect the energy and hospitality to be a lot warmer and more uplifting. Instead, the staff always looks tired or like they don’t want to be there. That’s not a good look for business, you never know who’s walking through your doors.
A simple smile or greeting can go a long way and can really change the customer’s experience. Right now, it just feels flat, which makes it hard to want to come back. The food has potential, but the customer service and overall vibe definitely need improvement.

I ordered my food from Uber Eats. It came quickly, hot, fresh, and seasoned beyond my expectations! I was pleasantly surprised with how everything came because I’m usually underwhelmed with food deliveries, this restaurant, however, was on point. I will be ordering again. I got the 4 pc fish, 6 shrimp, mac and cheese, and collards.

The food is not fresh it gave me food poisoning. Save yourself the time and don’t order from here they will lie and tell you everything is cooked the same day but this was the only meal I consumed the day I got food poisoning. Also I don’t know what’s their deal with black pepper but they use it entirely way too much. I ordered from here once and never again I wouldn’t recommend to anyone not even if it’s their last meal on earth

this was $50 I’ll never complain when food is of quality but this was disgusting the salmon cooked like deep fried hush puppies, collard greens were salty as hell, the Mac nd cheese. The wings were ok. I’ve had plenty of variations of Macaroni and cheese and my goodness it was terrible!!! Absolutely awful! The Rasta pasta had a decent flavor but they couldn’t even be bothered to cut the onions and peppers in any slight uniform way. And whoever they have answering the phone, irritated that they have to call you…. to actually notify you that something they have listed on the menu isn’t available is…. Just as awful as the food. I feel robbed and quite frankly I want my money back. Should’ve disputed it. But NEVER and I mean EVER again.

My most recent time eating from Seafood Soul & Tingzs was 10/28. I’ve eaten at least 10 times from here; twice I picked up my order and all the other was through Uber eats. They are a Solid Soulfood takeout joint. I appreciate the consistency. My go to meal is the Whiting/Shrimp with yams and Mac. The Whiting and Shrimp have always been fresh and cooked with a nice crisp. The yams are mix between a mash with some solid pieces, the Mac is cool not my absolute favorite but it pairs well with the overall meal.

The food was amazing I finally found a good seafood spot. It’s so hard to find good quality food in the Bronx anymore. The fish sandwich was perfect fresh just like I like it. We also ordered fried shrimp baked Mac and greens, everything was tasty. The shrimp batter was a little to sweet for my taste but to each his own. I would give them a 10 if they had more stars

Delicious! I just took my first bite and had to come write a review. The baked salmon is delicious! Definitely worth the 20 or so minute wait as they make it fresh. Very generous portions too. Love to support black owned business!
