I had to experience Seafood Palace according to all the great reviews. I ordered the 3 piece whiting with fries and a side order of corn. The staff were great, very warm and welcoming. I explained I had never been there before but I had heard great things about the food. The area was a little sketchy and I didn’t feel real comfortable so I waited in my car until time to go back in and get my food. The lady who waited on me asked me what type of sauce did I want on my corn and she gave me options. I had never heard of sauce on corn so I didn’t know what I wanted, it was a choice between two out of three. She asked me if I wanted to try both and I said yes thinking she was going to put them in little to-ġo cups so I can try each separately. When I got home and saw my corn smothered in this sauce, I about choked. I did not like that! If I didn’t like the sauce (and I didn’t) then I could have had plain corn. Not only that but the corn was so overcooked it was mush with sauce. . The fish more than made up for the corn disappointment. Three huge pieces of fish, and fries were seasoned well and delicious!! The hush puppies were an extra bonus and they were good.

The food is really good with generous portions, but the prices are a bit on the higher side. I only purchased the Fat Boy boil and the Captain’s shrimp boil w/ white sauce, it came to over $80 with taxes. That said, I’d probably order again, but every once in a while

I went here been in November 2024 and forgot to do my review. Location is pretty good. Not too far from 95 and sitting in a corner. Plenty of street parking. Small building, but there’s outdoor seating. The menu is displayed on tvs and they have take out menus. Everything is described well. The price is high for the area, but not high for the type of food or the quality.
I can’t remember my exact order, but I remembered getting a whiting meal, shrimp, and loaded fries. It wasn’t for me, but my wife shared with me. The food was amazing. Everything was cooked well. The seasonings were perfect for each dish. It tasted like they use specific seasons for specific dishes compared to using the same seasonings for everything. I loved the loaded fries. They had crab meat, seasoning, a sauce, and possibly shrimp (can’t remember exactly). If you don’t try anything else there, you have to try that.
The wait was a little long, but understandable because everything is cooked to order. I think the quality of the food and the fact that everything is cooked to order makes the price worth it. I would recommend you can ahead if you don’t have time to wait.
I haven’t been back YET, but I definitely plan to! It’s probably my new favorite seafood restaurant in the area.

I’m driving across country and found this place which is right off I-95! I don’t like eating fast food so finding this spot was amazing! The food is delicious and customer service is excellent! My corn, fried whiting and fries were all full of delicious Cajun flavors! Nice simple outdoor seating for your boils as well!

Worth a try for sure. Staff was very friendly and inviting. Food was good and fried well. A little under seasoned for my liking but im sure most would enjoy. Going back on a Sunday to try the grilled wings. Overall, good place to visit.

We took a ride to Petersburg to taste some of the best seafood in the area at Seafood Palace VA! When we arrived to the quaint bright orange building it screamed good food inside! We were greeted by a warm friendly person who took orders. We order the 2 piece whiting and fries and the Fat Boi Boil covered in their signature white sauce and a blue raspberry iceburg. That’s a cool cup depending on where you’re from lol. Y’all that food was super delicious!! All of it! I was licking my fingers and crushing everything! This place really does have the best seafood boil I’ve had in the area. Hell fried fish too! I will definitely be back. Go check it out y’all!

Seafood Palace is an absolute 10/10 in every category—service, atmosphere, and most importantly, the food. If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is a must-visit. I highly recommend switching up your choices and trying everything on their menu because every dish hits the mark.
Right now, I’m hooked on their ramen bowl with shrimp, sausage, corn, eggs, and both the white sauce and the captain sauce. They give you a great portion and I can’t eat it in one sitting. It’s honestly a flavor explosion! The combination is so rich and satisfying—like I said in my TikTok, it tastes so good it’ll make you want to smack… I promise, you won’t be disappointed! After looking at the reviews, I can see I’m not the only one who feels that it is truly disgusting that the shrimp was not de-veined. I definitely have been to places where the shrimp was cleaned while still having the shell on. I drove almost an hour to try this place and was disappointed. The flavor was ok, customer service needs to be better. I’m assuming he is the owner seemed cool. However, whoever the young lady is, she needs some training with the public. She seemed not very friendly and annoyed when I asked 2 questions.
