This place was found in spontaneity with my girlfriend and I looking for a quick and easy seafood restaurant. Little did I know what I got us into… Came in a me was seated indoors nearly immediately. This waved a red flag at me, walking in and being seated immediately?? I was a bit confused and yet curious to find out why it was so easy. Then it came down to order. I attempted to order something that was not on the menu. The server said that he can’t put in an order of something that doesn’t exist on the menu. I asked him to talk to the chefs and they made perfect sense as to why I ordered was not a possibility. Instead of denying me they treated me as if I was family! Not to stop there, the food was delicious and nutritious. Speaking of using the secret ingredient of (love) you can taste something beyond all tangible ingredients. I’m glad I ran into this place and I will come by more often to enjoy the quality of care and product at this restaurant!

If you like seafood Mexican style this place is for you. This is One of my favorite places to go to whenever I’m in South Sacramento, and Every time I’ve been here it’s been packed, But never really had to wait a long time to be seated at a table. There is seating indoors and outdoors and the services relatively quick. Instead of serving the usual chips and salsa, they serve ceviche and tostadas. Ceviche is fish cooked in lemon juice with vegetables like onion, cilantro, jalapeños. My husband ordered a mixed cocktail basically a shrimp cocktail with octopus. My dad ordered a regular shrimp cocktail. You have the choice of having it served cold or warm. My dad likes his warm my husband cold. Both dad and husband said it was delicious and they didn’t go skimpy on the shrimp. I ordered camarones a la kora. Shrimp sautéed in chili seasoning with a hint of lime flavor. My favorite! Its a little pricey compared to a regular Mexican restaurant but it is seafood, also its delicious. They do serve alcohol and the micheladas are fire. Parking is somewhat limited and the restaurant is located in a small shopping center. The bill was about 100 bucks for 4 people . Well worth it. Try it out if your in the area.

I waited over 40 minutes for my plate , and then I was told I would have to wait another 15 minutes. They also told me that if I couldn’t wait, I could leave and they would give me my money back

The food is delicious and the service is nice. They serve the best micheladas I’ve ever had outside of Mexico. The portions are generous, sometimes the ceviche need a bit of salt (my opinion). Definitely worth a visit every time I’m in South Sac.

Lots of flavor and ceviche was good. I didn’t care for the steak and chicken, a little overcooked but nonetheless, if you’re looking for seafood, give them a chance.

In the past we had a great experience. This time the molcajete wasn’t tasting good. Had to cancel my birthday dinner. So disappointed, they didn’t even apologized.
