Returned to The SeaCow Eatery
We brought our dog and ate outside. The food was good and reasonably priced.
My wife and I visited the SeaCow Eatery for the first time in March 2025. It is located not far from the Food Lion grocery on Jungle.
There is an outside, uncovered seating area and a covered seating area, both are dog friendly. My wife had an egg salad sandwich which she enjoyed. I had a Reuben and it was good. Tea was good as well. Service was average at best. We would go back to the SeaCow.

We love and adore Sea Cow. Every trip we always make a point to eat here. The homemade biscuits are phenomenal. Crab cakes-out of this world- make sure to use the sauce they come with. Omelets are always fresh and tasty. Some of the best grits I’ve had.

I went to dinner here for the first time, I have had breakfast here in the past. It was Absolutely Amazing ! I had the grilled shrimp and scallops, broccoli and cheese casserole, and fried okra with a dinner roll that was out of this world. Caesar salad was great as well! Sangria was Fantastic too! I will definitely be back to this Gem every time I’m on the island!

This was the most enjoyable breakfast experience we’ve had in a while! We came with our service dog and were seated on the patio. It had a sign for families and pets. We enjoyed interacting with the other pups dining there. The food was fast, hot and amazing! Our server was friendly and very attentive. We look forward to going back.

We revisited this restaurant during a recent Edisto trip. One of the very few places in Edisto thats great for a quick lunch. There are seatings both inside and outside. They have the typical burgers, philly cheese steak sandwich, fries etc. The philly steak sandwich was great. Beer battered fries were great too. We were a large group that biked from nearby. Overall we weren’t disappointed.

We ate breakfast here three times during our week stay on Edisto. The biscuits are amazing. Bacon was cooked perfectly crisp. I ordered a different meal each time and all were delicious. Can’t wait to come back.
