This is a wonderful place to sit by the seaside and enjoy a high end, delicious meal in a setting that can feel as casual or as sophisticated as you wish. I had the lobster bisque and it was creamy and delicious. Our entire table enjoyed the well- plated food. Service was prompt and friendly. After dinner. You can walk on the beach.

It was our first time going to Sea Watch On the Ocean. The location is off Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The guests have the option of eating outside or inside. They can also leave the grounds to go to enjoy the beach area while waiting for dinner or after dinner. The service was outstanding. The view from the top area around the windows was fantastic. We tried an array of food on the menu. Although you need to be prepared to bring your wallet, you won’t be disappointed. Inside the place was a barrage of ambient décor to add to the eating enjoyment. Would definitely go back. It was a class act. Probably suggest calling ahead and reserving a table.

My fiancé and I have heard great things about this restaurant and finally tried it. Very pleased. From the initial greeting to getting a tour after lunch, everything was smooth friendly and inviting. I had the salmon sandwich and a crab cake. The food was fresh and very tasty, only down was the crab cake was slightly burnt but the flavor beyond that was definitely there. We will defiantly be coming back for our work meetings with our partners.

If you’re ever in Pompano Beach ️ , this restaurant is a to go dine at !!!!! Two thumbs Sea Watch has been a long standing restaurant since 1974 and I can totally understand why they are still around . The ambiance of “Home” hits you when you step inside this two story restaurant , with its huge double sided fireplace greeting you and next , is the breathtaking views of the ocean from a wall of windows that reaches two stories high in some areas . One of the things we really liked about this restaurant was the ample parking , which is a rarity on the beach , for our huge 2500 truck . The service was top notch and I’d say it’s the service we have EVER had ! They leave you wanting for nothing . We were seated immediately and our water was on the table within a minute . Our waiter , Carlos, was cordial and full of life , energy , and great stories about the repeat , and generational customers that they have come in year after year . our drinks never were under a 1/4 from the top , as they come over and fill it to the brim right away . One of the waiters has been there for a whopping 27 years and we could tell he really loved working there . As a matter of fact , everyone we asked loved their job there . We started with nice , hot cup of soup . No canned soup here! Everything is fresh . My fiancé had the Clam Chowder and I had the lobster bisque accompanied by bread that is baked locally . For our main course , he chose the chargrilled swordfish . This is the first time he’s tasted it and he was in love ❤️ at first bite . I tasted it and I will definitely be ordering it anytime I see it on the menu . Talk about tender, juicy, and delicious! I chose ” The Original Sea Medly” which was a combination of scallops, shrimp , and lobster , paired with the best roasted carrots , green beans, and russet potatoes I’ve ever had . Oh so good !! We finished with taking their chocolate trifle back to our condo for dessert after a movie . Mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Came here based on reviews. Maybe it was a bad night but my scallops were gritty. The manager seemed more upset I was telling him about it instead of actually being concerned for sandy scallops. Then he TOOK my plate to the kitchen and never returned with it and charged me full price. I wasn’t looking to be compensated just wanted him to be aware there might be a problem in the kitchen and I didn’t think he would take my almost full plate away. My daughter enjoyed her fish but my mother said her shrimp was rubber which we didn’t dare mention to anyone. I was given a slice of key lime pie that I didn’t ask for and don’t even like but everyone else said it was the best so maybe just go for dessert if that’s what you like. Spinach artichoke dip was yummy but I just wanted good seafood.

The only reason it’s not getting a 1 was because the ambiance was beautiful and our server was nice. The food…I felt like it was fine dining for a nursing home. Overcooked rubbery lobster without a drop of seasoning. The vegitables and potatoes were also completely bland. I can’t recommend this in good conscious to anyone with taste buds left. Do you see any seasoning on that plate besides a spec on the carrots?

This place is a gem! Very nice, rustic, classy decor. Food was amazing. The views are spectacular. Upstairs is more casual & has the the ocean view or sit inside in a more dining setting. Will definitely return !

I stopped by around 4pm on a Friday to check out the restaurant since I wanted to make some future reservations. The minute I walked in, I was blown away by the beautiful decor and the amazing views of the ocean. I decided to stay and have a drink at the bar. The bar is located on the 2nd floor with amazing views of the ocean. Our bartender was awesome. Fogot his name, but he looks like “Sheldon” from TV. My one martini turned into four since the vibe, drinks, and service were amazing. The only food I ordered was the calamari since I already had dinner plans somewhere else. I can’t wait to go back for the full restaurant experience. Reservations already made. Highly recommended!!!
