We stayed at the motel so we decided to grab a bite to eat at the bar. I was a little skeptical but the bartender said the cook was really good so we went for it. The crab cakes were good so we ordered the chicken sandwich and grouper sandwich. Both were well-prepared and very good. The service was great too. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there but I would eat there again if I stayed at the Sea Vista.

Yarr, this be a beachside bar and deck with treasure buried under a rotten crew.
The view be worth a king’s ransom, but the bartender on duty that afternoon near sank the whole voyage. No “ahoy,” no grin, not even a half-hearted nod. Just a face like a storm cloud and an attitude that’d sour fresh rum.
Every drink order felt like askin’ her to scrub the decks by hand. Short, snappy answers, no eye contact, and not a hint o’ hospitality. Service was slower than a leaky dinghy in dead calm, and the mood behind the bar was colder than the deep.
We came in ready to spend our gold and enjoy the deck, but instead o’ feelin’ welcome, we felt like unwelcome stowaways clutterin’ her rail.
With a spot this good, the owners could have this place packed from bow to stern every day. But if they keep leavin’ a bartender like that at the helm, this fine beachside bar and deck will keep sailin’ straight past the real treasure.
If the captains be listenin’, it’s time to swap the bartender on that shift or set some new standards, before the whole crew scares off more paying mates like us.

Stayed on a Sunday night last minute. A little more pricey than I expected for a Sunday, $154 total, but cheapest in the area and ended up being a great choice. I spend a lot in time in New Smyrna with my kids and fishing. I live about 39 minutes away. I pass by Sea Vista everytime i go to New Smyrna which is twice a week. Its right on the beach with a sandbox in the middle, a nice quiet pool, nice tiki bar and stairs right to the beach. Beautiful night walking on the beach, especially with your significant other…. Very cute and clean room… only there to sleep, right??? Check it out… nice spot and will go back.

First time here today for 1 drink off the beach around 1pm. I gave the bartender a $50 today. She swore i gave her a $20. Needless to say if your register is over $30 today I was right. Needless to say I wont be back. The place wasn’t the typical beach bar im used to.

Nice beach side patio bar. Bar staff was friendly and helpful. Skip the posted drinks, they are expensive and mostly filler. Food was surprisingly good. I had a mahi salad. My husband had a blackened grouper sandwich. We hate old, fishy fishy but both of ours were mild and flavorful. I didn’t give five stars because there is nothing “tiki” about this place except for the name.

Hidden Gem in NSB! We had $4 rum runners and crab cakes! Great access to the beach and a sleepy hotel. Will be coming back.

Drinks are alllllllllways on point. Haven’t tried much of the food, but being able to get a drink on the beach so conveniently is 5 stars itself. My son did get the chicken finger and French fries, and it was delicious. So I’m sure their food is incredible too!
