Really fresh Korean wild sashimi. Got free spicy Korean fish soup for free and absolutely love it. Also place provides free miso soup all day some complimentary small fried dishes depends on how much you order and spend. Got conch and grilled sardine as service because we ordered the sashimi $95. Would definitely recommend this place for fresh seafood.

The food was better than what I had in Korea. Super delicious and highly recommended. We had the squid sashimi salad with cold noodles, live raw squid and fish roe stew. The owner even was kind enough to service a cucumber salad on the house . The entire experience was awesome!

I expected to pay around $100 for a raw fish dinner for two, which is obviously pricey, but I was okay with it. However, the real shocker was the Toro Sashimi. The menu listed 5 pieces for $27, but I was charged $45 under ‘Market Price.’ I double-checked several times, but they just kept saying $45 was the correct price without much explanation. The owner was friendly and the food tasted good, but I’m not sure if those 5 pieces were worth that much. I’d recommend the live fish, but be careful with the sashimi—it’s definitely on the expensive side. I paid more than $177.

Excellent Seafood and Great Atmosphere!
I had an amazing dining experience at 바다여행. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable. The atmosphere was perfect cozy yet elegant, with a great view and a relaxing ambiance.
The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. I tried the sashimi, and it was very delicious, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and everything tasted like it came straight from the ocean.
Service was quick, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a great place to eat, I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!

Updating my review based on recent visit and realization that there is new ownership. Service has declined, and it was obvious who staff was more attentive to and gave better sides to. She didn’t even want to wait long enough to take our full order when we were indecisive about something. She left took other orders and came back. It wasn’t even full, there were 3 tables including us.
Seafood is amazingly fresh and delicious. You can take sashimi style fish to go or eat at the restaurant. They have maybe 5-6 tables max. Small eating area, but dont let it deter you from giving it a try. We ordered the Dungeness crab, it came straight out of the tank steamed, and brought to your table. Staff is super friendly and one of the other reasons why I will continue to come back.

The owner is very kind and one of my favorite sashimi place in DFW area. Just celebrated my father’s 68 years old bday here this evening with the rest of family members! Not an expansive place but it is worth of the experience in my opinion. !!!

I stopped by here tonight for a light sashimi dinner. I had decided never to return due to poor service before, but I heard the ownership had changed, so I decided to give it another shot. The cashier could have been a bit more polite—it felt a bit unprofessional to take orders while texting on her phone.
I ordered the Sashimi Combo M and Mulhoe (spicy cold seafood soup). The mulhoe was perfectly seasoned, and the squid and shrimp inside were fresh and delicious. The vegetables in the mulhoe were also fresh, which added to the overall enjoyment. The sashimi combo had a generous portion, making it an amazing value for the price. The selection included salmon, flounder, sea bream, yellowtail, yellowtail belly, tuna belly, shrimp, tobiko, and octopus(I guess). Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared.
It was so good that I’m definitely planning to come back again!

We got the xxl Chef Choice Mixed Sashimi and it was super fresh. Considering inflation, I feel it is a fair price. It was enough for 3-4 people if eaten with some appetizers or side dishes.
