We had a wonderful dining experience. The chef/owner was so friendly and warm. He shared many stories of his culinary education and vast cooking experience. His waitstaff was fast and well-versed on the menu and we were never left waiting for beverage, refills, etc. The food was well prepared and delicious. Great experience overall.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. If you’re not feeling fries, don’t let the name keep you away. The “steak” tonight was filet mignon, and it was served exactly to perfection. I enjoy my beef rare (I joke when I order that it can walk out to the table by itself), and the filet was cooked rare with assorted, locally grown mushrooms and a flavorful, but not overpowering brown sauce. I also had the duck fat fries and creamed spinach…and it was a portion of creamed spinach, not just 3 leaves and some cream sauce! They’re new to the area, so please, go and enjoy the variety of menu selections.
Best part, Chef Norman kept coming out to the dining area, asking guest how they were enjoying their choices. That’s service beyond service! Chef, my boxer, Agi, found your smash burger delicious…she said, “…be sure to make one for Cowboy.”

I am a local and stopped in for the first time tonight. The service was stellar. All the food was great and fresh. We were really impressed! It was a little on the pricey side, but we thought it was worth it! We are willing to pay extra to get meals made with locally sourced foods. We will be back!

We had a takeout order which consisted of a double smash burger, five piece, chicken tenders, Hand cut fries, and the Homemade potato chips that came with the burger.
I had emailed the chef last week and he confirmed that 90% of the food could be made gluten-free and they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer.
Sampled everything in the order and the food was excellent. My favorite was the chicken tenders. Followed closely by the homemade potato chips and french fries. The burger was very good.
They’ve done some work on the interior. I remember what the last restaurant was like. Friendly and clean atmosphere.
The staff was very busy. They were very friendly, cordial and professional.
Considering how good the takeout was I can only imagine it would be better dining in.
Will definitely be back. Appreciate having delicious gluten-free options close to home!

Such a great place! Really friendly staff, clean , relaxing and bright environment. The food, in my opinion and the tables very good. Fresh fries, unique dipping aioli malt vinegar sauce, fresh ceaser salad with a light dressing, fresh crisp falafel! The smash burger very good according to my mother in law. Non alcoholic lemon drop 10/10 I can’t wait to go back

Have been wanting to go to this place since they opened. Finally went and it absolutely delivered. Great service with extremely friendly staff and food was spectacular. If you are a fan of French fries coming here is an absolute must. So glad I don’t have to drive to Portland for a great French fry anymore.

As a picky eater, I always go for the chicken tenders and fries, Salt Fry may have the BEST chicken tenders and fries I’ve had in years. The chicken is crispy and hand breaded and the fries were off the charts amazing. We got takeout and even then everything was crispy and fresh. If their chicken and fries are this good, I can only imagine the rest of the menu. Give this place a shot!
