Sea Island is great! The food is amazing! You walk in and order at the counter, get yourself a drink, and seat yourself. You are given a small device that sits on your table so the food runners know where to drop off your meal. If you have leftovers, you get the boxes, bags and napkins yourself at the condiment station. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual.

Very excited to eat here for the first time, especially with the large amount of good reviews I read. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience here. First off, it took over 25 minutes to get our food. And no, they were not busy at all. We ordered grilled shrimp tacos and a grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing fancy. I will start with the grilled shrimp tacos. They looked absolutely beautiful (Despite being “salad shrimp”). After taking one bite, the flavor was bland and the shrimp was as cold as can be. And I don’t mean room temperature either. It felt like it came out of the fridge before hitting the plate. Next was the grilled chicken sandwich. This at least had great flavor, but it was as dry as beef jerky. We spoke with the manager, and he acted as bland as the food on our table. He did, however, remedy the situation by bringing another plate of hot grilled shrimp tacos (still as bland as the first but the temperature was right). Pictured is the grilled shrimp taco. Went here with 3 co workers. They skipped our order. When we asked about it with one of the staff, she said they were working on it never talked to kitchen. We waiting another 30 mins. I then asked another staff member once I saw a group that just arrive get served. Then they made our food after about an hour wait. No apology from anyone. Food was good. Place could use a good scrubbing all around. May come back…

First and last visit. Someone posted about this delicious lobster roll on Sunday, so I had to come give it a try on Monday. Very disappointed. Looks beautiful, but taste wasn’t where it needed to be. Got the lobster bisque, Against my better judgement I decided to take a few spoonfuls to make sure I wasn’t tripping. It had a curdled and gritty texture. I was able to send it back without any issues. Spent the following afternoon praising the porcelain god. I also learned another very valuable lesson. If they make you pay upfront for your food beware. I’m still waiting on the refund for the spoiled lobster bisque.

Food was bland, almost completely unseasoned, not even salt on the fries. Even the tea was bland. Faint smell of bleach across the whole restaurant as well, raising concerns about a cover-up. Acoustic resonance makes it difficult to hear people at my table over the roar of everyone talking Loudly to be heard at their table.

This type of establishment Has that cafeteria style ordering. As you walk in u head to the only menu behind the registers. As delicious as this seafood is, there is a line. This isn’t ordering Like a fast food restaurant; Is the variety of Delicious seafood platters; Expect a family in front of to take quite a bit of tin deciding the order. This is why I gave the service three stars because only two registers and the line can get long. I keep going back because I’m not being modest when I say this is one of the Best tasting seafood restaurants And it’s worth the wait, but the line and long time waiting from the family ahead of u taking long in placing their order does get frustrating.

Stopped in on a Friday night for my first visit. The staff was nice. The food was ok. The restaurant was a bit dirty including the bathrooms. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and my husband had the diablo shrimp burger. I don’t think we’ll return. It’s more like a glorified Long John Silvers.

It took me a long time to visit this place, despite it being so close to my house because seafood is not really my thing. I was actually pleasantly surprised by it. The first surprise was that it was counter service. Based on the size and look of the place, I always thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant.

They came out to greet me. I was sitting in the parking lot trying to decide if I was going to try the place. After the polite and professional way I was approached . I order food to go, and it was great. Glad I went and I will be back
