Customer service here is great! The young lady who took our order knew the menu well and was very professional and personable. The restaurant interior is nice and clean. However, the food needs improvement and you don’t get enough for the price that you pay. Our fish was dry, flavorless, and did not taste fresh. The fish looked as if it was seasoned well but no, pretty disappointed. The Mac n cheese that was recommended was overpowered with too much garlic. They are stingy with the condiments. The best thing on the plate were the hush puppies and fries.

This was our first time at The Sea Hut. We had seen great things online about it, decided to try and it did not disappoint. The service was great and she was very knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere was perfect; clean, organized and air was perfect. All of this lead up to some great food. The seafood was fresh and nicely fried. We will be visiting again

So me and 2ic were passing through. And we heard bout blackcharlotte food week. Amd the sea hut was one of the restaurants mentioned . So I decided to make a detour and head on over. It seemed like it could have been located near the hood. Not sure but that is always a good sign for good food. We went inside. It was neat and clean. Nothing fancy. But nice. I think the owner knew we were new or first timers and she jumped in to help. Gave a awesome break fown of the menu. Which helped out quite alot. We then made out order. And because of eating here. I will never ask for Arnold Palmers again. Only uptowns!!! And the uptown there were amazing. The food came out. And I was thoroughly impressed. 2ic was also and she is not easily pleased when it comes to food. But on top of the food the service was amazing. They people were very friendly. It felt like we were eating at our aunt and uncle house.. everything we had was good. I definitely recommend the seahut.

Everything was delicious! I got the loaded shrimp and grits, candied yams, and mac n cheese. My son got fried Basa with fried okra and hush puppies. We shared frog legs and Gator bites. Needless to say we had leftovers Everything was cooked to perfection. The shrimp wasnt overcooked. The breading on it all is light and crispy and not greasy. The owner is so friendly. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

We stopped by Sea Hut for lunch on a whim and I’m so glad we did. The dining area had plenty of seating, and the atmosphere felt casual but welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the owner’s wife. She runs the dining area and made us feel right at home, walking us through the menu and helping us decide what to try. Her recommendations were on point.

We ordered:
• Lemon pepper wings (flavorful, and perfectly seasoned)
• Fried shrimp
• Whiting (light and fried just right)
• Fries
• Yams
• Collard greens

Every single item hit the spot no notes. And let me just say, the Arnold Palmer slaps. Refreshing, balanced, and the perfect sidekick to all that fried goodness.

We’ve already agreed we’re coming back to try more from the menu. Definitely one of those places you’ll want to put on repeat.

Customer service was great, both of the ladies were welcoming and engaging. I order a basa and flounder fish plate, both plate portions were smaller than expected – food was decent. My partner had a whiting fish sandwich which he enjoyed. We also ordered the fried cheesecake it was good. This was a take out order and the extra side of fries I ordered were missing so be sure to check the receipt as well.

I was craving seafood and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was great however, the food was mediocre. The mac and cheese was dry, the baked beans tasted like they poured it on my plate straight out of the can, flounder was bland. Definitely would not be my first choice for seafood.
