Seafood dishes, including sushi & a raw bar, served in a harborside setting with 2 outdoor patios.

Worst, dry halibut I’ve ever had. No flavor no seasoning. I cannot believe this. It’s like it was taken out of a frozen plastic package and plopped in a microwave. It was about $30, too. While utensils were ordered they were not included, so I’m in my hotel, eating food with my hands. Appalling food. Crab and shrimp Louie salad had thin strings of crabmeat and almost raw shrimp. As it was to go I could not send it back.

A serious disappointment. Food was appalling. I feel bad posting negative reviews but this place was bad. Fish tacos were just tons of lettuce and cheese with very little, albeit tasteless, fish. The Captain’s Catch is even worse. The batter was morelike a doughnut dough and the fish was overcooked.

We ordered take out. It was inedible. My chicken salad was missing 1/2 of the ingredients. The tomatoes were rotten. The chicken dried and stale. The ahi taco was over spiced and had very little fish. The halibut taco was a very tired and small sliver of fish The Chips were very stale.. Do not recommend. We will not return.

We’ve been going here for years. It’s our go-to place in Channel Islands when we go to the beach. The fish and chips is great, so fresh and beautifully cooked.
It’s a casual place, seat yourself, order inside and they give you a buzzer to go back in and pick up your food when it’s ready. Full bar too. We usually sit outside on the patio and never had a problem finding a table. Five stars all the way

Cute place on the harbor with a nice view. The cashier was amazing, very friendly and although the there was a line kept her smile. However, the woman answering the phone for call in orders did not seem happy and made a lot of faces as she took orders over the phone. I get it, I’m in customer service but if you are taking calls in front of guests you might not want to act so irritated. The menu was what you would expect at a seafood restaurant and was served quickly. The taste was average but did taste fresh. I had the grilled jumbo shrimp. Cool local place to grab a bite. There are a lot of birds if you sit outside but plenty of room inside as well.

Great spot for fresh seafood during our vacation in Oxnard!
My family and I stopped by while visiting the area, and overall we had a good experience. The young lady at the front was very helpful and recommended the blackened salmon. I went with the blackened seabass teriyaki rice bowl, which was excellent—flavorful and well-prepared. Others in our group enjoyed the fish and chips, and my wife had the shrimp tacos, which she felt were just okay. The atmosphere was casual and pleasant, but one small suggestion: it would be great to have a host greeting guests and helping with seating. That would really elevate the experience. Otherwise, we’d definitely consider coming back!

We ordered the fish & chips, shrimp & chips, charbroiled oysters, and a Bloody Mary — everything was amazing! The seafood was super fresh and flavorful, especially the oysters — huge and delicious! The Bloody Mary was surprisingly cheap and really tasty. Great food, good vibes, and awesome value. Definitely coming back!

We’ve visited the Sea Fresh restaurant in Ojai many times, so we wanted to try the harbor location. It was also good! I liked the sliders and the poki bowl I ordered. Everyone else liked their food but said the Ojai location was more consistent with some of the food. The harbor has a great patio next to the water and the service was fast.

Nice fresh seafood dishes near Channel Islands! The outside patio area has a nice view of the pier, especially on a beautiful summer day. It’s also dog friendly, which is an absolute +++
Foodwise, food is fresh. However, it seems to be lacking in flavor. Got the halibut tacos, and it was alright. Think it needed some salsa and spice. The onion rings were good! Nice crunch! Don’t think they use regular beer batter. Rather, they use cornmeal, which I prefer.
It’s a nice spot to check out if you’re around Channel Islands and craving fresh seafood.

Come early as this cozy dockside restaurant gets packed quickly on the weekends. Most of the food is freshly caught and full of flavor. The business model here for the uninitiated is you step up to the order counter, pay for your meal and take a buzzer with you to a table you choose. When it activates you then go to the pick up window and as my Brit colleagues would say; “Bob’s your uncle” and you are good to go. Don’t have huge expectations for refinements as this has a local pub vibe but it overall leaves a great impression with a full belly. Bonus tip: try the clam chowder- easily the best on the west coast!
