Unassuming and unexpected upscale food court serving restaurant quality rolls and an incredible shrimp tempura appetizer. Get it! Don’t expect fast food turnaround; this is a one man restaurant in its own right and perfect if you want good food but don’t need an immersive ‘dining experience.’

I had a delicious Rainbow Roll at Sea & River. The staff was super friendly and they had gluten-free soy sauce on request. Loved that they have both indoor and outdoor seating.

I got the Van’s Lunch which contains about 3 half rolls, which is more than enough food for a filling lunch. Super fresh ingredients and friendly service, this spot is awesome!

Consistently the best sushi deal on the Eastside of Portland. I’ve tried everything on their menu and the staff is friendly, fish quality is excellent, super clean with the perfect splashes of creativity !!

We’ve come here a couple of times now and have loved it! Great outdoor patio for the pups, beer from Gigantic brewing and then this little gem of a spot. We have absolutely loved their light, crunchy tempura and the seaweed salad is always a home run.

The owner was super kind and friendly. Tried their Tea Salad for the first time and it was wonderful. Would recommend with the tempura vegetables and the lime that comes with it. All of the flavours we’re fresh and tea salad is really unique

This place is excellent! Sushi is delicious, try the tempura tuna roll – amazing balance between crunchy tempura outside and tender tuna inside. Also try the tea leaf salad – was so excited to see not only sushi in our neighborhood but also Burmese food! More burmese dishes, please! The owners are lovely, the food is high quality and reasonable, and you can pair it with awesome beer from Gigantic. Really thrilled to have this as a part of our neighborhood!

It looks like people who give 5 star review never ate a good sushi. We came from Beaverton because of the reviews to try this sushi. Sushi are just below average, dry, very small with a thin piece of fish. There was no other people but the waiting time was 30 minutes. Would not recommend.

Our favorite place to get sushi in Portland! Everything is fresh and tasty, including the Burmese dishes. My family all agrees that the miso soup is the best we’ve ever had, and the cucumber rolls are large and actually packed full of cucumber. Delicious.

Omg this place is amazing. We live around the corner and finally made it in after they opened. Sushi is super high quality and reasonably priced, and the staff is so sweet. We got the tea leaf salad too and it’s delicious, I love Burmese food. Great addition to the neighborhood!
