The food is good, and I enjoy the flavors. The temperature tends to be more “under-the-lamp warm” rather than fresh and hot. The biscuits are nice and fluffy, while the eggs are on the smaller side.

Service
The service model is pay-at-the-counter and then sit down, but they still bring out your drinks and food. It can be difficult to get a drink refill, and I eventually had to walk up to the staff to ask. One complaint is the menu listing: under sides it says “egg $2.00,” but they require you to order two eggs, making it $4.00. I was told it must come as two eggs—unclear why—but if that’s the case, the menu should be updated to avoid misleading customers.

Ambiance
The place is cute with both indoor and outdoor seating. I love the signs inside, which add a charming touch to the atmosphere.
The owner had the community paint the parking lot in support of the community. Loved it!
I ordered the Minnie Pearl which was a little less than ok. The waffles were good but the chicken was just fried, not really flavored or seasoned. Just had hot sauce and syrup. I tried to get more syrup for it to try to make up for it not being seasoned but the waitress told us it’ll be $1 and would need to go back up to the register to pay for the extra. It ended up being $2 and change. (Not complaining, I understand things cost, just inconvenient to have to get up.
Also agree with other reviewers, food was not fresh it was warm to cool.
Unfortunately it’s not a place I’d go back to sit down in but I may go back to get the bread pudding.
When you arrive probably you will have to wait in a line outside, but that moves quickly and worth the wait time.
The food is is very good , from the pie, lunch menu and bakery.
The service is outstanding, professional, kind and very friendly.
The price is not cheap but I think is right .
I drove almost one hour to get there and worth every single mile .
Southern style comfort food meets fabulousness❤️ ️
The cold brew coffee was lackluster but that’s my only criticism. The biscuits, fried chicken, tots, and all the breakfast staples were otherwise amazing.
Loving the community-style seating and LGBT representation in the decor and the staff working! Check this place out, y’all!!
