Okay, I have to say it Se Salio El Pollo is incredible. This is easily some of the juiciest, most flavorful chicken I’ve ever had in the US, I’m from Paraguay, and this chicken instantly reminded me of home. The moment you bite into it, you taste that smoky, rich flavor and the meat is so tender and juicy that it literally melts in your mouth. I was honestly amazed, es una maravilla.

The milanesa? Perfection. Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with that flavor that just makes you smile with every bite. And the empanadas, just wow. Baked, not fried, and you can tell they use real, quality chicken inside, both white and dark meat, perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. They feel homemade in the best, most authentic way.

They also give you so many sauces, and they are so good. Like, every sauce was a win. Dipping, pouring, tasting, pure happiness.

On top of the amazing food, the service was wonderful. The staff is friendly and warm, and the pricing is honestly very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Everything tasted fresh, intentional, and made with love.

You can tell the chef knows exactly what they’re doing, this is food made with pride, tradition, and flavor. If you love beautifully seasoned, juicy chicken and real Latin comfort food, you need to come here. ¡De verdad, delicioso!

I can’t recommend this place enough, five stars, easily. I will definitely be coming back again and again!

Really solid food for a really good price. We tried a bunch of stuff including the roasted chicken, maduros, tamale, and some mashed potato that was deep fried. I also had a slice of tres leches that i took back. The plantains were pretty good, not fully ripe though. The tamale I wasn’t too impressed with. Very different from the Mexican variant and not in a good way in my opinion. The chicken however was really freaking good. We ordered a whole chicken and demolished it. The fried mashed potato was pretty good but just too filling for me. As for the tres leche, I was not a fan of this one. The cake was chunky, I couldn’t tell if it was nuts or poorly mixed batter. Service was really good, but i had my Puerto Rican buddy with me to speak spanish. I would have been in a bit of trouble trying to speak english i feel like. This place is in a kind of a sketchy area just to be warned but sometimes that’s where the best food hides! Thanks for the food!

Hmmm…
My brother in laws girlfriend took us to this restaurant when we visited NJ last month. As soon as walked in the restaurant that smell of Lysol hits my nostrils. Only one server taking care of 9 tables. Pretty busy place. We ordered 2 whole chicken and I was pretty hungry so I gobbled 4 pieces right away. We ordered other things and these are the only pictures I took since I was hungry. The chicken was great. Nice flavor and tender. The hot sauce they provided was amazing. Price is great as well. I forgot about the Lysol smell. Left full and happy – 4 stars!

The food was ok. The dish LA ruleta the rice was soupy and the ceviche needs more lemon and salt ( no everybody like hot spicy) , the pescado a lo macho too much yuca and I never try with yuca before but was OK. Service is good and kind. Probably give another opportunity and we’ll see

Food is good, tasty and portions are fairly big. Restaurant charges mandatory “service fee” of 18% and waiters say that it is not tip and additional money fot tip is expected. They also charge fee if paying with credit card. The same fee charged when paying with debit card, even though it is illegal in Jersey. Overall not worth the additional money.

great food quantity!! If you have small appetite, you can share one main dish and one appetizer with one more person. We ordered seafood dish, I was not so fond of the taste but other customers recommended roasted chicken which is famous for one of signature Peruvian dish so it might be good to try.
