As soon as I walked towards the counter, I was greeted. The staff was polite and professional and helped me choose a sauce for my quesadilla since I hadn’t been there before. The quesadilla was really good and the cost was very inexpensive! I wouldn’t call it cheap because the quality is much better than what you think when you hear the word. Affordable and delicious! They also offer a military discount! I would absolutely recommend trying them out.

The BEST BURGER in Rolla! Great service too. Quality is super consistent. Staff very friendly. This is popular spot for good reason CONS: No drive thru or outdoor seating. Hillside parking is limited and a bit difficult.

The service here was really good however the food didn’t quite deliver. The bang bang shrimp tasted like already fried shrimp from the frozen section tossed in a sauce. The actual burger on the patty melt wasn’t bad but the mustard sauce on it was weird. I guess my baby liked her hot dog since she ate about half of it. Sweet potato fries were the best thing to me.

Best burger I’ve ever had!!! Wow! I am blown away! We just happened upon this place while traveling home from vacation and saw it had great reviews on here so we gave it a shot. Man am I glad we did! We will for sure be back any time we are nearby!!! The GF buns were warmed and soft and great, which is hard to find!! The smash burger was incredible! And the sweet potato fries AMAZING!! They took extra precautions and have a separate entire fryer for those with celiac! So impressed!! And they own American Taco Co (attached to this business) and not only support military and offer a discount, but have such a fun atmosphere with all their signs and stickers. They even have GF treats and snacks up at the front counter too!! The employees were incredibly kind, patient, and friendly and offered all kinds of other accommodations so that the menu didn’t feel limiting (which it wasn’t at all! There were tons of choices!)
My husband got the Burger Bowl and it was delicious!!! Our kids picked things off the kids menu and the portions are generous- theirs was incredible too!
Probably the best GF restaurant we have visited in years!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Very good burgers. I highly recommend eating here. I got the 1/4 pound bacon jalapeno burger. Crinkle cut fries are great too. The menu is large. I wish this place was closer to home. Prices are reasonable for a quality Burger with fresh tomatoes and lettuce and all sorts of other good stuff.

Best burgers in town!! This is one of THE BEST restaurants in Rolla. Hands down. The other best is right next door. The burgers here are always fresh and delicious. Always get the Scruffs sauce. It’s delicious. Scruffs melt plus some bacon is too good. Bang bang shrimp and the ghost pepper honey fries are unforgettable. The service here is always top notch. I would strongly recommend Scruff’s. I’ll be coming back AGAIN and AGAIN

I can’t say enough good things about Scruff Grill. As someone who has struggled to find safe, delicious, actually enjoyable gluten-free meals, this place absolutely blew me away. Their gluten-free options are incredible—thoughtfully crafted, full of flavor, and far beyond the usual “substitute and hope for the best” approach most restaurants take.
The gluten-free buns are a standout: soft, sturdy, and honestly the best I’ve ever had. They don’t fall apart! That alone would earn them five stars, but it gets even better. They use dedicated fryers, something that’s nearly impossible to find, and their staff is impressively knowledgeable about cross-contamination, ingredients, and allergen safety. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best burger I have ever had. I had the melt, and was DELICIOUS. The fries were fantastic as well, as was their tea. They brew it there rather than the pump stuff. My youngest ordered chicken tenders. It seemed to be like a chicken fried steak sliced up. He LOVED that. I tasted it, and it was really good, but that would be something someone might want to know before ordering in case they are more into the thicker tenders. We all LOVED our meals! We were on vacation to Fugitive Beach and Googled the best dinner in town. It was between this restaurant and one other place. I believe we absolutely made a great choice!

A must try and I will make this my go-to when near Rolla. First both Scruff’s and All American Taco are colocated in the same building which helps those indecisive individuals in your family/group. Back to Scruff’s the smashburgers are fresh and made to order. I had the Jalapeno Burger and only was disappointed when I finished! The jalapeño was smashed and grilled too, and I should’ve gone with the 1/2 lb burger. My side was the sweet potato fries with the spicy honey glaze; it was it’s own main event. Great atmosphere too and cool swag (I got a complimentary sticker). Again a true delightful eating experience!

With one side being hamburger/ chicken amd the other side being tacos, it was a nice place to go for a meal. We had a burger with fries and chicken strips with fries. The taste was great. They do offer a gluten free menu for those who need it, yes this does include the chicken strips. If you are in the area and haven’t tried them, give them a try. The prices are reasonable. We will be return customers should we be in the area again.
