Post surgery, I was quite hungry. My husband was smart enough to get me to the nearest place where I could eat. I had the Scruby’s Philly with Brisket.
It was very tasty, and all of the sides were delicious! My husband had the baby back ribs with beans. The Brisket tasted a little overcooked/dry to me.
Next time, I will order without cheese, so it doesn’t need to be reheated. The best part of my meal was the Tropicana Punch. It was very refreshing!
There is a salad bar for those who wish to enjoy a lighter fare. The bathrooms were clean, and the wait staff was friendly. The atmosphere was ok the closer you were to the bar with different lighting.
It looks as if it used to be a Denny’s or buffet place judging by the seating arrangement. I will visit again when I can offer another review and try other foods. Until then, keep up the good work!

We have been here probably 10+ times and will be back. You can’t go wrong if you’re looking for some great home cooked BBQ and friendly faces! I mean, we’ve had better BBQ and the prices here are a little high but we have never had a bad experience.

Soo have not been here in 7 years. I don’t think I liked my experience or food last time but def happy I came back. Great priced lunch specials. Food was awesome. Delicious. Service was great. Came out quick. Staff was very friendly and nice. Will def come back 100%. If you are looking for a good BBQ spot then give Scrubys a try. Overall very satisfied with my experience. Hit the spot ya know! They even gave me a sweet tea to go!

My First time at this restaurant went on a Groupon that we received for Xmas Cool spot we got seated quickly, seating is in booths, our waitress Keisha was the best at providing us with Excellent Customer Service She was on The spot. And this is what I expect in any business that I enter with the intentions of spending my money in, The food was so Good Started off with side Salads then I ordered the fried Catfish & Loaded baked potato with baked bean’s which were to die for and I tell you everything was delicious the potato could have been hotter, but besides that I was totally impressed & Satisfied with my meal. My lady had the Prime Rib & Loaded baked potato & Broccoli, the steak was done to perfection, Broccoli still had a snap to them not soggy nor soft, Prices are very reasonable Food Excellent, Service Excellent I Will Definitely Recommend And Definitely will Revisit.

Service 5 stars, no complaints there everyone one was very friendly and helpful. I even felt I was not in “Miami/SF”. The place is outdated but clean. The food was ok, I give it 3 stars to the food. The brisket was so dry and it had a weird texture, the ribs were ok also dry. The mac and cheese you could see the oil separation, the Cole slaw was acceptable, and the corn bread normal. We Paid $100 for 2 fountain drinks, 1 app, and 2 entrees plus 2 corn breads. This was an ok restaurant overall, one of those restaurants you are in the area and decide to try it but that is it.

I usually order take out here at least twice a month. Baby back ribs are always excellent.
But this time we went in and we had an excellent time, the beef ribs and brisket were also very good. Our waitress Krisan was funny and attentive. Great and quick service. Country music playing in the background is a plus as well.

I ordered take -out of the rack and a half of baby back ribs dinner @ 32.99.
1st… they charged 34.99… an upcharge for something? The receipt doesn’t say… As part of the dinner I asked for a sweet potato and potato wedges.
I received….
A mini sweet potato
11 potato wedges (most were 1 bite sized)
And…
11 ribs… there’s typically 11-13 ribs in a full rack..
I think they forgot 1/3 of my meal…
The best part of the dinner was the order of corn nuggets I purchased. @ 9.99.
If I had opened it in the restaurant I would have walked out…

First time coming here, 2nd for my dad. The buffalo wings (medium) were some of the best we tasted. It reminded me of home cooked ones I had when younger. The brisket was a little dry, but the St.Louis ribs were good and flavorful. We like the original and hot BBQ sauces. Our server was nice to let us take home some. I would like to come here again sometime and order something different.

Scruby’s BBQ has been in this location for years. The servers are attentive and helpful. There’s plenty of seats so seldom a wait. The portions are larger than average. I suggest coming hungry. I tried the swamp burger on this visit and it did not disappoint. The fried mushroom appetizer is fantastic as well.
