We arrived at the restaurant around 9:30 am and there was a wait. Luckily, I only waited about 10-15 minutes. We were able to get into a booth. The vibe was chic/modern, farm. They had family appropriate music playing. They have a very large dining room and more seating throughout the outside. Seems like a great place to meet with the family or friends. The service was great! Everyone was super friendly. I do have to mention it to quite a bit of time for our table to get their food, probably anywhere from 25-30 min. It was a very busy day, so I’m assuming that’s why. It didn’t change our opinion of the experience. The food was high quality and flavorful. They served the perfect portions as well. I ordered the Cinnamon rolls, Smoked Pork Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, and the Banana Foster French toast. We also ordered coffee, mimosa, orange juice, and waters. We paid $95.00, not including tip.

Food was so good at the other screen door we came here the next day for breakfast. Back to back screen door breakfast’s did not disappoint at all. Got the breakfast sandwich this time and it was amazing. I don’t like horseradish but their sauce they made with horseradish on it was amazing. Cinnamon rolls were also fire again. I don’t know much about Portland but screen door has to be their best breakfast. Waiter could’ve been a little more attentive but I still highly recommend!

Stopped by Screen Door for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by how swiftly we were seated despite the crowd. Exceptional service by our attentive waiter truly set the tone. The chicken and waffles were a showstopper, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The smoked pork Benedict was another hit. However, the shrimp and grits could use a bit more seasoning. Overall, a delightful brunch experience that I’d gladly revisit.

My husband and I wanted to try this place out. It was pretty good. We had to sit outside due to no available seating inside. But wasn’t too bad. Our waiter was nice and the food and drinks were pretty good. we got the fried oysters as an appetizer. They were okay. I got the chicken and waffles and husband got the chicken tenders, Mac, and coleslaw. We both got hurricane drinks. Oh and we got the peach cheesecake for dessert. Omg. Now that was amazing.

I can’t rate this place high enough. Such an amazing place with an unforgettably gorgeous atmosphere and phenomenal service. AND don’t get me started on how amazing the food was. I got the Seafood Jambalaya with a side of their Creamy Delta Blue Rice Grits. It was unbelievably good and I can’t even explain the bursts of flavors that came with each bite of the jambalaya. The grits were so cheesy and were the definition of comfort food. You must come here, this is not one that you can pass up. So amazing, please try it.

This restaurant was definitely on my list on my trip to Portland. It’s always so busy but had a chance to make a reservation and have breakfast there on a weekday.

The different mimosa flavors were really fun! This place was crazy busy for breakfast so I recommend either going early or having a reservation. The cinnamon roll was delicious and so was the chicken & waffles and the blueberry & lemon pancakes

The best french toast I’ve ever had in my life! The caramelized bananas were perfect & the sauce tasted amazing! I wish I ordered one to go. The service was phenomenal & the atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool. The downside is the biscuits weren’t as good as I expected. I wished they opened at 8am instead of 9am since I wanted to get a French Toast before my flight.
