Not worth the detour to stop here, highly disappointed. The most sloppily made rolls I have ever seen in my life. Rolls were falling apart and small. The spicy tuna isn’t a real spicy tuna. Just a plain tuna roll with hot mayo thrown on top. Poor quality tuna. No care was given while making these rolls. Miso soup was the best part of the dish but the tofu chunks were cold and seaweed was nonexistant. Chairs need an update. I lost my desire to eat these rolls after a couple of sad bites. Will not come back. This is completely unacceptable for a sushi restaurant. Was never checked on by the waitress either.

Found this spot on accident on the way back from Tampa to Orlando. Not too far off i4 and cute little downtown area.
The service staff were excellent and very friendly.
The sushi was awesome! We ordered 4 rolls and they were all fresh and excellent. We can’t wait to go back and try more!

Had my first experience at Scream’n Tuna Sushi yesterday and it was GREAT! I prefer cooked sushi and I was shocked at the many options they had. I had shrimp and chicken tempura rolls…both were excellent! The service was good and the restaurant was small but VERY clean. Will definitely be back.

Must go in Lakeland for sushi lovers! The staff is super friendly and the sushi selection is great. I recommend the OMG roll if you like mango. Sounds weird but is delicious! Also the White Bamboo roll is great! Their simple rolls are very good too. Spicy tuna is very good!

Came here during the day while it was raining and was empty aside from one other couple across the room. Place is small and cozy but not overcrowded. Waitress took our order but put it in wrong so my 3 philly rolls + cucumber and avocado were just salmon and cream cheese. After she brought us the food, she went to leave but must have either realized her mistake or noticed the look of “mehhhh” on my face because she apologized and went for the manager. Manager apologized, brought me a to go package for the wrong rolls they’d given me and said my rolls would be out in a minute or two. Sure enough, two minutes later, my philly’s came out(still missing cucumber but I wasnt gonna make a further stink beyond my initial unintentional one) and we enjoyed a nice early sushi dinner. Service was fast and friendly, just gotta work on the attention to detail. Not knocking a star off, they tried to fix their mistake and I got some free take home sushi that was actually pretty tasty. Will return for sure.
P.S. Have returned a couple times since that original post and have enjoyed it each time. This is one the spots we visit every time we’re home in florida. Never too busy(dont understand why not) and always fast and friendly service. Best sushi for a while, no matter what direction you drive.

This right here is truly a hidden gem of Lakeland. So far the best sushi I’ve ever had. I had the Tokyo Roll and the Firecracker Roll both were over the top delicious! I immediately texted my friends letting them know this would be the next girls night out spot. Look forward to my next visit to try some of your other rolls that also sound amazing.

Freshly made and delicious. I love Tunacado and theirs is different from what I have gotten at other Sushi Restaurants. Raw Jalapeno in the Very Mexican Roll was perfect! I’ve eaten here in the past, always delicious.
