Every time I return to Radford, Screamers is my must-visit spot! I’ve been a fan since my days living here, and the staff always makes me feel like family—their warmth and hospitality keep me coming back. The handmade dishes are delicious and fresh (those breakfast combos and griddle favorites hit different), the drinks flow perfectly, and the vibe is cool and comfortable with karaoke nights that get everyone singing. Food is good every time I come. Some of the best phillys I’ve ever had. Staff are nice, prices are good, all around a great time. The atmosphere is a little odd and random but what would you expect from a place named Screamers? Definitely worth trying!!

After moving our daughter in at Radford and doing all the last minute stuff, it was late and we were hungry. I looked up places to eat near us and the reviews for Screamers were very positive. So we went, wasn’t overly busy because they had just reopened from vacation. We met one of the owners, Joe, who also bartends and runs food. One hell of a nice guy and wasn’t ultimately joking about portion sizes. My son ordered the chicken parm sub you see in the attached pictures. Joe certainly doesn’t lie about his length! It was a FULL 12″! Even Ron Jeremy blushed! I had the chicken Philly and my wife the Greek pizza. All portions were the same! And the kicker was, it was phenomenal! I can’t recommend this place enough. Now, it’s a bar geared towards college kids but don’t be swayed in the least. Go there! Post haste!

Great place to hang out, grab some drinks, and eat some incredible food. Everyone there is always really nice, especially Joe the bartender and Alex the chef. Their emphasis on affordability really shows. It’s great to be able to get a massive calzone or sub for a couple bucks. Not many places can come close to the value for your money that screamers has. 7 dollar calzones, 3 dollar beers, what more can I ask for?

I am SO impressed with Screamers! Me and my wife ordered takeout tonight, and first I want to say the food was DELICIOUS , the service was OUTSTANDING , and I’ve never had a bigger burger in my life. This place is 100/10 and I highly recommend. Will definitely be visiting them in the near future. Thank you guys so much for such an amazing experience.. ps the older lady is such an amazing kind soul and went above and beyond for me and my family .

Absolutely superb!! The service was bomb, the food was absolutely impeccable, and the portion sizes… let’s just say, massive! Oh and the prices, you cannot beat for the amount of food you receive! I got the calzone with pepperoni added and ricotta omitted, my buddy got the Philly and my wife got the Texas burger. We shared a basket of crinkle cuts and garlic knots as an app! The quality is by far the most authentic and of the highest caliber! Screamers cannot be beat! Shoutout to Joseph, the manager and our server tonight. The guy is awesome! 100% I recommend. Cannot recommend enough. Pictured below is the burger my wife received! The bun is house made and unique and HUGE! I didn’t get to snap a photo of the rest of our food but trust me… massive and beautiful! Go Screamers!

OMG the pizza steak. And the Cajun fries. Best I’ve had by far. Just go eat there. Being amazing and inexpensive is something they didn’t have to do but do it anyway because they care. I would have paid double and not complained.
