At Scratch Restaurants, our goal is to serve our favorites, prepared perfectly from Scratch, never frozen (we joke that we only freeze ice. Oh, we make that too). All burgers are house-ground using prime cuts of brisket and chuck and served on locally sourced rolls.

I went to this restaurant and paid with my debit card. After leaving this establishment someone used my card info. I would not recommend anyone to go here. I was not compensated for the money that was taken from me. So if you want your info compromised go there. The servers are not trustworthy. The only time I used my debit card is at this location. They are scamming and if I could give this place 0 starts I would!

Very disappointed with my experience. I ordered fish and chips to go and asked if it could be made quickly as the place wasn’t even busy. What I received was unacceptable. The fish was so soggy and not fried all the way through. The fries were soaked in grease and completely unappetizing. Rushing an order should never mean compromising the quality and safety of the food.

Super clean neighborhood pub with great food and great service. I came in for a late afternoon meal and wasn’t at all disappointed with the decision. I sat at the bar and got the spicy Italian sausage sandwich along with a spicy Bloody Mary. Johnny the bartender was very personable and checked to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the drink he had special made using the house made Bloody Mary mix. The place has pleasant staff, is nicely decorated and the food is great …. I highly recommend it!

I would return for a beer, but the problem is there are a dozen places for beer on the way.
The food wasn’t anything to write home about. The regular smash burger was dry, which is a shame. The pickles could be better. They faintly have a vinegar hit, heavy dill, and too sweet. Almost like a bread and butter pickle, which in my opinion has no business on a burger. You want that hit off acid if you aren’t putting a sauce on there to compensate. Dry, dry, dry.
The smash burger done the French onion way was ok. They probably make a good French onion soup based on the flavor.
I love seeing who has good gooey cheese curds and these aren’t them. They were bland and just warm. I didn’t get that fresh from the fryer feeling.

Our waiter was personable and very efficient. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. We were there early so the noise wasn’t bad.

We stopped in on a Saturday evening and had no wait time. The inside was cute, and they had many big screen tvs with the cubs game on. About 30 minutes after we arrived, there was also an acoustic set that started playing.
We went to order a few things, but after ordering, we’re told they were out (a total of 3 items). Since this was our first time, I am not sure if that was common or not. It wasn’t a huge deal to us as they had very similar items for substitute. We ordered the poutine, which was very yummy. A Panzerotti (fried) and the classic cheeseburger with the house made vegan burger. All of the above were delicious and better than we anticipated.
I often get vegetarian substitutes, and they can be hit or miss. The house made vegan burger was so flavorful and tasty!
They have specials everyday of the week and trivia nights as well.
Our server was very attentive.
If we are in the area again, we would definitely come back.

We were in Oakpark for an event and decided to pick this place to dine. It is a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. There was a live performance to our surprise. The server was nice and the food was fresh and tasty!! It was 6 of us and we all loved our food.
