I ordered Scratch a little earlier through uber eats. All I can say is everything was absolutely perfect and amazing. I ordered the 4 piece fried chicken with garlic Parmesan rub, I took one bite while still at my kitchen counter and literally never went to sit down at the table. The moment I took a bite I just started shoveling food into my face. Not kidding, it was like Jesus and Martha Stewart got together and made dinner for me. The biscuit was perfect, the Cole slaw and potato salad were perfect, and the fried okra was like little balls of actual crack, I couldn’t stop eating. I feel like fat Elvis right now and I’m skinny.

I’ve been going to scratched since my undergrad years at NCAT. Never had a complaint until this past Sunday . Ordered the Chicken and waffles per usual , received my sides which the greens were well seasoned and mash potatoes were decent. What I wasn’t expecting was to see a bug leg next to my waffle. I thought that’s strange . I lifted the waffle only to see another bug leg under my food. The staff were really apologetic I ended up getting a refund for the waffle. They offered to cook me another waffle. but the experience was already ruined for me . Won’t be going back unfortunately.

Second time here from out of town and I absolutely love their food. Chicken and waffles is always what I order. Today I ordered additionally the cheeseburger egg rolls !!!! Babyyyyeeeee so good!!! Service is slow and it take a while to get food but it’s worth the wait. Food is delicious!!! Inside is small however everytime I been it wasn’t packed just took a while to receive food

My friend and I ordered online. I got three whole wings with a waffle and my friend got the three tenders and a waffle. Both were very well seasoned and the waffle was perfect. The food was hot and you can tell it was freshly prepared. Both came with a whipped butter which made the waffle even better. It was a perfect Sunday brunch at home.

My absolute favorite place. You will not be disappointed!! The chicken is always hot and delicious. It’s so hot that I have to wait for it to cool down every time. It is nicely seasoned and the breading is not too thick. The meat is juicy and not dry.
The sriracha honey chicken sandwich was really good as well. It had a nice balance of spiciness and sweetness. The chicken and waffles were good, but the waffle is a bit doughy. The prices are average and not too bad.

Several friends recommended Scratch since my wife and I were looking to grab a bite to eat before going to the movies. We ordered a 6-piece tenders, seafood eggrolls,, okra, and coleslaw. It took 20 minutes to make, which was longer than we expected. When it arrived, we could tell we ordered too much food. The tenders were big, so with all that we ordered, a 3-piece would’ve sufficed. We enjoyed the food, but it wasn’t 5-star. I’d go back again if I had the chance and try other items from the menu.

Me and my husband stop bye because the reviews were ok and we wanted good fried chicken. . When we got there it was ok atmosphere about 10 table set up . My husband ordered the egg roll ,wings , collards and slaw . I ordered chicken tenders and fries . my husband ask for some sauces mix and the lady said they don’t do that . She said everything was season and he wouldn’t need it . He took her word . Once the food arrived he tried the egg roll he said was 7-10 then his wings came up . The wings look great crispy and golden but he said it had no taste . He said the slaw and greens was nasty . My food arrive basic chicken tenders I thought can’t go wrong with that . I was completely wrong . They taste like fried air . The tenders look good but they had no seasoning . I never had bad tenders . Even the ketchup didn’t taste good . We both laughed because it was that bad . We went there and even reviewed our first bite on video . I really tried to like it but it really tasted like meat and fried food . I sent the chicken tenders back and said I’ll just get the wings cause it was that bad . The lady charge me $3 more . I didn’t complain I paid and waited 20 min for my chicken. . I took a bite and left that chicken on the table . I don’t no what they marinate the chicken in but it isn’t enough . My husband own a popular restaurant so he knows good food and this wasn’t it . We travel the world to eat good food and this one is definitely on the bottom . The customer service is mid as well . Anyway we paid our $40 bucks and left . Also it was others there who was trying it for the first time and said the same thing . The food look great but no taste at all . It was a complete waste of time .
