Would definitely recommend! We went around 3pm and it was very quiet. The atmosphere is very nice. There prices are very reasonable. I got a salad and sandwich combo for $11 with a drink and chips. I thought the food was delicious. Service was great. Would go back!

Sandwiches were strange, served on unusual flat grilled? bread; sort of like a panini. Service was too slow for nobody there, and sandwiches were pretty bland. Hash browns were tiny, thin and surprisingly skimpy.

A fantastic cafe in Ephrata. First time here — exceptional service, delicious food and coffee, and a really awesome, open, bright (with large windows and natural light) space. Standard table or cozy couch/chair seating options. Free wifi also available! I definitely will be back!

I’ve tried the caramel latte from here twice, hoping to love it, but both times it ended up being underwhelming. The espresso tasted quite weak, and the caramel syrup had a slightly artificial flavor. I honestly wonder if the shots are pulled fresh or if it’s just the type of beans they use, either way, the coffee didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The nugget-style ice melts quickly and seems to water down the drink, even when I asked for extra. That said, the café itself is spacious and inviting, with a great atmosphere for sitting down or getting work done. I might come back to try their food or pastries, but probably not for the coffee.

Scratch bakes has coffee and desserts, along with a beautiful seating space. It’s a good spot to come in the afternoon for a social meeting or a relaxing place to work. Acoustically it is a little echoey, but there is music that helps it from having a dead silence.

A great place to grab coffee in Ephrata! The Irish cream latte was delicious and I’ve heard great things about the food (although I haven’t tried it yet)! The staff are very friendly and the porch area is really nice to sit out on during a nice day!

I ordered a grilled cheese and tomato soup, unaware they stopped doing grilled cheese past 3:30. I wish I would of got the workers name. I apologized and she reassure me she would “make it work, not a problem at all. It was very kind to do that. Also the tomato soup with pepper jack is delicious!!!

I ordered a strawberry fields salad and it was excellent. The balsamic dressing worked so well and they give you an Generous amount unlike most places. The customer service was great. Very pleasant and friendly. I plan and need to go back to try other items on their menu.
