I had been to this restaurant for lunch on my way to Poconos. It was rainy day and I was hungry and hunting for good and tasty food. Of course it’s easy to find this place and parking as well on a weekend. Ambience was OKAY. The seating area was somewhat like disconnected with the restaurant. Seating area was outside and self serving including cleaning tables after eating food. Whenever we had to order additional food we have to walk to other place. There was no facility to call the server. I ordered two different curries and both look same and taste too. I couldn’t find difference between Mixed veg kolhapuri and cashews curry. Garlic butter naans are better. Don’t ask for curd rice. It was blended in blender and its like paste. I don’t recommend this restaurant. Service was good, person who helped was courteous. Other than that nothing is really good.

We went there today. Great food. We got orders of Tikka Chicken Marsala, Garlic Naan and Garlic Parm wings with fries. The food was fantastic.
Only minor gripe is that they don’t bring the food out altogether. Wings and fries came first. Then the Rice and chicken, then later the naan. U get the naan to eat with your food not 7 to 10 min after.
They have a cool little area to eat. A public restroom. A lot of the stuff was served to us in to go containers and paper plates, though. So we took it to go and got out of there
We deff would go back, though. Food and service was fantastic. They have better tikka then the Amber does and a lot nicer service.

This place basically togo place and mostly good for college students living around this place. Do not think about dine in there and relax. If you want to sit there and eat, there is room but restaurant serves you in to go boxes.
Food is not authentic Indian and not even Bawarchi style. Tried few items and they appears to prepared day before or something. There is nothing special to write about the quality or taste of the food.
Not recommended if you are looking for something good Indian food in Scranton area.

Good place overall for great food. We had Ghee Roast Dosa, Kadhai Paneer, Samosa Chaat, and Chicken Chettinad Curry. Everything was delicious. Try their Gongura Paneer. They have limited seating, as it seems almost all their orders are to go. Everything was handled by one lady, and she kept up with everything pretty well.

I tried the Pappu Charu Kodi Pulao and Raju Gari Chicken Pulao — both were absolutely excellent! The flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation was perfect. The service was also great — friendly and quick. Definitely worth trying if you love delicious and well-prepared food!

Delicious food and very friendly staff. I stopped here on my way to the upstate and was glad I did. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, butter chicken, naan and paneer dosa. Each item was on point. Their flavors are authentic and makes you feel right at home.

Food was so good and worth the wait. This place is a hidden gem.
Took 30 mins for my food but it was worth the wait as it was hot and fresh tasting.
I got the butter chicken with basmati rice. I had mango drink and chicken samosas. Everything was so good and seasoned nicely.
Will be my indian spot.

Stopped here for lunch while returning from Corning. It’s not a fine dining restaurant but they do serve in take away boxes if you want to dine. Chicken appetizers were delicious, spicy and hot. For main course they had informed Goat biryani would take 30 mins but it took over 40-45 minutes and when it arrived it didn’t feel like dum biryani at all. It was more like they had curry at the bottom and flavored rice over it. Overall it was okay experience would have liked if food came much quicker.

Dropped a hundred bucks at Scranton Bawarchi, and man, it was totally worth it! The food was insanely good – flavors on point, spices just right. The whole vibe and the attentive staff made it feel like money well spent. Can’t wait for a repeat!
