Service could be way more friendly. Got a dozen assorted donuts for $14, apple fritters are excluded in the dozen deal. Employee ended up giving us an extra donut, assuming it was because it was getting late on Christmas day.
Donuts were average, tasted like something you could get from the Safeway bakery (which are good! but nothing special). I wouldn’t come back but it seems they do have super odd hours so if you’re in a holiday pinch they might be open!

They have awesome donuts…OPEN 24 hours! The atmosphere, ..if u go alone at night may I suggest u carry a gun. The owners r great 2…I suggest they wear kevlar vests! The fresh cream filled bars n fritters r the best around!!

I’ve been coming here off and on for years for the teriyaki chicken bowls because they’re pretty good. You wouldn’t think a doughnut shop would make good teriyaki chicken but they do. They don’t skimp on the portions so you get your money’s worth. I docked 1 star because sometimes the rice is overcooked, probably because they microwave it. Nonetheless it’s still better than most places in Modesto.

They have the best doughnuts and the cream filling is excellent! The chicken teriyaki bowls are amazing and the staff is very friendly. Don’t let the side of town or outside of the building stop you from trying Scotty’s doughnuts, so good!
