It is as close to a dive bar you can get in Palo Alto. The 5-7pm daily happy hour is the real steal. If you can overlook the blasé decor and ambiance and enjoy a couple drinks at more reasonable prices, this is your spot.

We came on a gameday and the ambiance was electric. There was only one bartender working but she attended to us quickly.
We were really disappointed in the food here. The chopped Caesar salad was just a traditional Caesar salad with lettuce that the chef didn’t dry before applying dressing. The 12″ pizza was amazingly small. In fact, it was the same diameter as my Racer 5 bottle which was less than 10″. Overall disappointed and will not be coming back.

It was a nice place to grab a quick beer woth some buddies. It was a good place to stop for us since it was open a lot later than many other pubs/bars in the area. I would go again if I was looking for a late night drink with friends.

I ordered chicken Alfredo pasta, and they told me they ran out of Alfredo, the restaurant only had 2 tables of customers, so either it is a popular dish or they are just not prepared. So instead I ordered the steak. The steak was hard to cut apart, very salty and mushroom topping were overcooked and dry. If it wasn’t for the super nice lady at the bar, I wouldn’t have given it any stars.
