This is a cool neighborhood watering well. Kristen is your bartender of choice and serves up some great brews (like this “Sauce”) and some of her own originals a.k.a “Liquid Marijuana”. Ask her about Karaoke nights and tip her handsomely if you’re going to mention my name.

It’s a cheap local dive lives up to what you would need from a watering hole. Inexpensive drinks, not pretentious, mainly plastic cups, good people. First time, walked in and had a small chat with a patron before the night was done. Plus, unlike some other aptly named Irish pubs, they do have Guinness *cough obrians*. Decent draft list too for a small local. Didn’t play, but seems like a good setup for darts too. I might not take a date or the wife for low key dinner and drinks, but after work or a friend for a cheap blow off steam evening? Absolutely.

Typical local pub with a welcoming atmosphere. I really love Tasha who is a bartender. She is very experienced at making a wide range of drinks. Brothers kitchen in this place is also good and offer a nice selection of wings.
My only issue here is that I enjoy drinking my Wine out of a wine glass. This has never been a problem until lastnight when the bartender advised that the new rule is that at night she can only use plastic cups. I have bartended at a few locations and found this to be odd and not customer friendly if I specifically request my Wine in a glass. Just maybe something to consider because I’m sure beer drinkers would also prefer a chilled beer mug over a plastic cup as well.
Overall a good place to enjoy a good time with down to earth patrons.

This is a great place to drink as log as the bartender named Jen is not working. She has zero interpersonal skills and should be replaced. She is costing the management money as I have even overheard patrons at other bars say that they won’t go to Scotties when Jen is working.

I have experienced the most rude & unprofessional bartender in my life at this place. I don’t know if your bartender Jen is an actual licensed and experienced bartender because she has no customer service or people skills whatsoever!
I’ve never been to a bar where people have had to ask where the bartender is and she’s outside having an extensive cigarette break.
Retrain her or have her supervised when working because how she talks to and treats paying customers in unacceptable!

On the front this is a unassuming place. You walk in and see the general shots and beer for good prices. But giving this place some time you will see the breakdown, a chill and caring collection of people. Don’t be intimidated by this place as it’s a diamond in the rough. After you get comfortable with your surroundings you will realize, through smell, that the wings seem quality. Don’t make your order at the bar. Instead, duck into a side door inside and you will find the Chilly Willy. This man slings the best wings in CT. Step aside J Tim’s because it’s hard

Always a great bar. Fantastic people. Great prices. And the food there is out of this world!!!! Both the staff. And the other patrons are always good people. Never a issue there at all. And I’ve been going there for years now. They will also order a special type of beer or liquor if you will come enough to be able to drink about half of the bottle of the special liquor that you asked for. Really a great place

Chucky tomatoes is one of the best pizza places I’ve ever gotten pizza from. I grew up in New Haven so I’m not going to compare these guys to Pepe’s and Sally’s but with that being said the ingredients on the pizza the meats that they use even down to the little separator on the bottom to keep the pizza from sticking to the cardboard box this place is top shelf. And if you do go there you absolutely have to get the cannolis for dessert
