Yo this place was top notch. You’re eating in your car or getting take out unless you can get a table outside. The dogs, burgers and tots were so good and the toppings were fresh. They come up to your car window to take your order. Nice to have such service! It was a little awkward seeing the tip disclaimer on the menu. Are they working below minimum wage?

First time visiting, no inside dining or ordering. They come to your car(which I think is awesome). I got the double cheeseburger with carmelized onions. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The homemade unsweetened Iced tea was delicious. Highly recommended.

Good variety of dogs and a few burgers. Food came out quick and was tasty. The main thing to know is the business is cash only which is mildly inconvenient, particularly in 2023. They do have an ATM, but the 2.50 fee was 10% of the total bill for the food. Not the biggest deal, but an easy thing for the restaurant to modernize and catch up with the times.

We were driving by this spot and decided to stop in. We were not disappointed. They offer car service so you don’t ever have to get out in the heat, but also have 5 picnic tables with umbrellas. The staff is very friendly without seeming overly fake or annoying. The chili dog was really good, and short of not having curds, the poutine was awesome. It is cash only but they have a little armored all weather ATM next to the seating area. Along with the 2 kinds of hot dogs they offer (natural casing and jumbo beef) they also serve patty melts, root beer floats, and slush. Stop on by and grab some quick food.

Absolute gem. Old-timey, so be prepared for cash-only, outdoor seating/car service, and natural casing. I got a sauerkraut & dijon dog, and a chili dog. Both were delicious and affordable. Friendly servers. Even the music was good – I’ll definitely be back!

We came across this place by accident. We were driving and happened to see it. This place is so good. They are a full service place. They will come to your car with menus and your food or you can sit at a picnic table and eat there. They have a great variety for hot dogs. They also have hamburgers, poutine and French fries. The menu is great and worth it. BE AWARE: THEY ARE CASH ONLY. They do have an atm on site if that’s a problem. Everyone was so friendly and personable. I would come here again.

Scotty Dog is a trip back in time! A true drive-in with car hop service by smiling young folks! It looks very much like a 1950s movie set and offers picnic tables for those who prefer not to eat in their car. Now for the food! The hot dogs are simply amazing and delicious! You must try the true Chicago Dog, with it’s crazy colorful garnishes! Italian roast beef, burgers, fries, cold drinks and dessert are frankly all good… But the dogs rule!
