The food was great. I ordered fried pickles and it came out really delicious. I wasn’t able to take a picture of the combination platter that I ordered, but that too was delicious. The staff was really nice and always made sure that everything was fine.

Delicious but I miss the buffet! Overall I enjoyed my salad with grilled catfish but to be sure it was rather plain. My friend’s fried meals looked hearty yet again… just rather plain. Seems as if the business needs an update.

The menu items here are amazing. The seafood gumbo is excellent the catfish is fried to perfection and the owners of this establishment are really, really nice, good people. The buffet is really good. I used to work here and although it didn’t work out I have nothing bad to say about this place. You would be amazed at the amount of work and preparation that goes into making this food everyday and the cooking staff deserves two thumbs up

The food is very good, the proportions are nice, and the staff is very kind. I ordered the catfish louisianne with a side of fried okra, and an appetizer of fried pickles. The pickles were perfectly fried and not too sour; the okra was also perfectly fried, but I would recommend a little more salt; the entree was delicious, and the bread that came with it was top notch. Our waitress (and the rest of the staff) were so kind and patient and just overall a pleasure to talk to. The only thing that keeps Scott’s from having 5 stars is the price. Everything else was marvelous.

Food was cooked to perfection. I even started cutting my fish into pieces like the fish fingers, when I returned home. Very friendly. One of the people with me had to check on his food. Make sure they don’t forget your order.

I had supper with my son and his family. The food was hot and delicious. Service was excellent. I would recommend Scott ‘s to any one seafood hungry. My sun especially enjoyed the dirty rice. I loved the fish filets. My granddaughter preferred the fries and fried pickles. All in all, it was a pleasant evening.

I ordered the whole catfish and they were great, nice and crispy. They were brought to me in a to go box and we were dining in. My husband ordered the buffet. After his first plate they were wanting to close it down, this was at 8:15 pm. He told them he wasn’t finished and asked for another plate 3 times. He never got another plate. He used the one he had. He had to ask for more fish to be put out, there wasn’t any on the buffet. The service was very poor. I doubt we will go back to this location for an evening meal. Ruston

So good. We are from out of state and had many of fish places to try. I’m very glad we chose this one. The fantail fried shrimp, they were quite large. Tender and crispy not over loaded with breading and the onion rings we’re thin crispy and oh so addicting. I would highly recommend coming here

Went to the lunch buffet it was super packed for a Wednesday, food was great very good cat fish, just wish the buffet would have been a tad bit bigger. Didn’t really have the room for food to serve the people that were coming thru the restaurant, so food was running out fast. 42$ for 3 people is a bit pricey, wouldn’t be bad if the buffet was bigger and had a larger selection of choices.
