Decided to stop in on our way to Sparta. Walked in with no greeting. Waited a few minutes, while 2 employees were behind the counter. As I walked out they didn’t say a word. I guess you have to be a regular to get service. I will definitely hand. 5 star for the Butter Dish.

Small town restaurant with quality food and friendly staff.
This is a small establishment with limited seating inside. Parking is available across the street aswell.
Both the floors, tables and restaurant are clean.
We had cheese burgers, which had quality fresh meat. The pickles and tomatoes stood out aswell.
The cook works her butt off!( Christin)

Biscuits are not made fresh. Had to wait 45 minutes for two breakfast. When they brought it to the table they said we only have one tater. They should have left it off both. Half of the breakfast was cold. Not very impressed.
Went for lunch great burger but the same thing happened with fries. Evidently they don’t know how to plan for meals on the weekend. Bless them.

We waited to be told where to sit for 6 minutes and then the waitress acted like she didn’t want to take our order she stood there and rolled her eyes so we got up to leave and I said to her she needed to be a little kinder to the customers and she rolled her eyes again and got an attitude this was our first time and the last time at this restaurant this is why people don’t dine in their communities and go elsewhere. I really wish that owners would get more involved with their restaurants and pay more attention to their workers

Ordered 2 big cheeseburgers, one of which was a double! And they were terrific! Onion rings are not frozen reheats and are battered and great as well!

Amazing service and great small town vibe. This is the 2nd time I’ve had their burger…and both times the burger drips with an excess amount of grease. I will have to make a mental note not to order a burger there again. Not that it tastes bad but I’m sure that’s not good for the arteries. Amazing prices and simple menu.

“Hole in the wall” type restaurant, local Waffle House vibe. Employees were kind. Breakfast sandwich was great, but we did not make it in time for the full breakfast menu. Fries and tater tots were good. Cheese burger was good. Chicken nuggets were not good. Outdoor access restroom needs significant attention.

This was our second time in twenty years. It’s still a crappy little place but now with memorable crappy service. Be ready to answer where are you from? We won’t be back for another twenty years.

Small diner in small town Tennessee and it’s everything you would expect. Staff are all friendly making you feel right at home. I have visited several times and it’s been great every time. Be sure to bring some cash because they don’t accept credit cards. If you’re passint through or visiting Pikeville, I recommend stopping by for a bite. You won’t be disappointed.

Pancakes are amazing and huge. Grits are instant, so either i was starving or they’re still pretty good; philly omelette was thinly sliced and juicy. Great place and vibe!
