Been going there since I was a kid. Pulled pork sandwich is great when they sauce it right (but they could up their bun game, pretty weak) ribs are good if you get there early enough, you can’t fault a place for making bbq daily so they ruin out but obviously that means the end of the batch has been around the longest. The twice baked potatoes are the best. Staff is always super friendly.

I stopped by at the last minute, and the owner was still super kind and welcoming, even taking the time to ask about my taste preferences. The food was an amazing value—absolutely delicious! I asked for the spicy BBQ sauce, which was mild for my taste and could be a bit spicier, the pork was perfect—no complaints there. Just give it a try; you won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant is very small, with only one sit-down table, but I absolutely loved the cool, old town vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

The ribs had absolutely no meat on them it was all bone. The skin you supposed to peel off before cooking ribs was still on there. I spent 50 bucks on 2 meals that the only thing was good was the twice baked potato and the can of coke

As always, Scott’s has the best BBQ around! I drive from Farmington to get it and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

Truly a hole-in-the-wall with room for only two seating, this local huddle spot offers friendly service and great ribs! And yes, to the other reviews, the beans are really spicy!

I was even offered a complimentary soda, without asking! The food is really good too. Just recognize their very limited hours (only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and cash-only operation.

Five stars for super friendly and welcoming service, (the guys always personally thank us for coming in and ask us to come again in the most enthusiastic, generous manner) and the quality of BBQ. Thank you for always being so kind!

This place was so good that I meant to just take one bite of the food in my car to taste it and then eat the rest at home, but instead I inhaled the whole thing in the car because it was so good and I couldn’t stop eating it. The sauce is delicious and the meat is fantastic. Great price and portions as well. Also the place is so cool inside – lots of memorabilia and very friendly, welcoming people. Great neighborhood spot and I will definitely be back often.

Got a great deal using Upside, so I ventured into the great unknown, vast metropolis of Minneapolis, using my GPS, and found this little hole-in-the wall rib joint. Personality plus! I think there was parking behind the building, but I opted to walk from a side street. I really liked the mild bbq ribs, twice baked potato 1/2, and the somewhat petite cuplet of coleslaw. Only one small table, and not really an eat in sort of place, so my only co.plaint, which only about my circumstances, not their food, was that I didn’t get to eat it hot. I didn’t know where to stop and eat, so ended going all the home. I’ll plan to find a park nearby, before I get the food, so I can have peak enjoyment! Quirky MN memorabilia covered the walls, so plenty to peruse while waiting a few minutes for your food! Nice people. Going to go again!

Big miss for me. Don’t understand the high reviews. My ribs were literally small bones with barely any meat on it. potatoes tasted like it was sitting out for awhile. Don’t recommend.

I’m from Texas and we went to Minneapolis to visit wife’s family. This is her favorite BBQ place (she’s been telling me about it for years). I have to admit, they have THE BEST BBQ sauce that has ever touched my lips. And I thought I knew barbeque.

Only one table in the joint. Wait a few minutes for your food and go. I hope they have a sit down restaurant someday. But till then I’ll keep getting take out.

Pick up and take out, order ahead… My new favorite lunch spot. Very reasonably price and very very good… Chicken, pork and steak sandwiches are ridiculous. Beans are fantastic…
