Fast forward to last week — it was the perfect night for Des Moines Football and a Des Moines Pizza Powerhouse! A huge thank-you to Scornovacca’s Ristorante for serving up an incredible 75 pizzas. Great way to end the night after a hard-fought, come-from-behind win. The team earned every slice! The staff at Scornovacca’s went above and beyond, staying in touch throughout the process, delivering flawlessly, and offering an excellent price.

Ordered online first time here since the 70s since moved to red. Placed online order. Arrived about 30 minutes later. No one at register for several minutes. Finally 2 girls walk out and talk for sec minutes without acknowledging me. Finally one wiped her nose on both arms and asked if I was there for a pickup. We ordered carryout and this was our first time eating here. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. The sauce was really good, but I didn’t care much for the garlic bread. It was like half of a hot dog bun. I would think they could develop a more appetizing garlic bread to go along with their italian meals.

It was my nephew’s birthday on Sunday night and it was the worst service I have had in years. We were passed around to 3 servers who did not want to take the table and made us feel unwanted from the beginning of walking through the door. We weren’t provided plates, silverware, napkins and condiments and had to physically find someone to bring us these things while they were all sitting on their phones at the bar mind you we were the only table in the whole restaurant, it was empty! Was really excited to try this restaurant. I was very disappointed in the service an quality of the pasta, chicken, an “grilled veggies”. The wings an appetizer sampler were good as well as the pizza but the pasta was not good at all. The veggies were frozen mix veggies an the chicken was either canned or frozen diced chicken.
