Had an amazing time at scooters for my husband’s 30th birthday. I am so glad we came here. Our waitress (wish I remembered her name) was very kind and attentive to everyone. We ended up having a party of 12 people and they let us reserve a table before coming. They have a whole private side to the building I had no idea about! This building has been many things the past years but scooters definitely remade the whole building setup and it’s so nice now! Food/drinks and environment was great. Loved the private space and the kids had so much fun playing in the arcade. Both of our sides of the family are locals and we grew up here so it was nice to still have some friendly people around now that the town has expanded so much! We will be back!

I usually love the food here. But tonight was a major let down. I ordered a pizza expecting the same great deep dish pizza that they have always had, only to be met with what amounted to a thin, bland pizza that was equal to that of a frozen pizza from the store. I am very disappointed that they would get rid of one of their major sellers for something so inferior. I will still be coming back for burgers and their tacos but this dinner has left a sour taste in my mouth.

Staff is very nice and helpful.
Food is unseasoned. No salt at all. Fried pickles were okay, but the breading had no real flavor, the Onion rings tasted a bit fishy like they just made fish in the same oil. The had the tri tip dip and It had a lot of potential, but with no salt it was just bland (adding salt at this point didn’t help). It came with Au Jus but it was a strange herb flavor and also a not seasoned.

Food was AMAZING! Got take out, so I don’t have much to say about the service or atmosphere. But we did call to ask a question and they were very helpful and nice sounding. I got the blackened chicken with my Mac and cheese and it was SO flavorful. Borderline a little salty but it was good. New to the area and will definitely be returning and trying many other dishes!

Scooters used to be my favorite restaurant in sandy, until that last year. I order the same thing almost every time I go in there and it used to be enough food that I would get full and even have a little bit left over. That is no longer the case. I get the beer Mac and cheese with the bruschetta toppings and the blackened chicken. Tonight was the last straw in my struggle to continue to like this establishment. Not only do I have to be ignored by the bartender until I finally get mad enough to say something just to place my order but now the food is literally a quarter the size it used to be and has lost its flavor and ingredients to the point that I no longer have any desire to ever go back. While the atmosphere created by other patrons is fairly enjoyable there is nothing else about scooters that I enjoy or would recommend for a night out. A negative star rating would be in order if it were allowed. I definitely recommend eating elsewhere. Give your money to an establishment that wants it and treats it’s customers like they are wanted there.

The servers were excellent, and both the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. My only concern was with the bar service. The Bloody Marys we ordered were not prepared to standard and were missing traditional garnishes such as olives. While this may seem minor, those details are an important part of the drink experience.

This is a sports bar with probably a dozen TV’s showing different things. I’m not into many sports and I realize the hockey games weren’t on yet today when I was there. I prefer ice hockey. Food is a little different each visit, though the person helping us i believe is the owner and his employees were calling out and that must be stressful on a Saturday night. The pizza we ordered was as expected. We didn’t expect it to be more than consistent with a prior visit in that we got a pizza. My two beers were not waited on so that was nice. I can’t stand waiting on a drink. All and all, if you haven’t been there and you want better than fast food I’d say check it out?

My sister and I love coming to Scooter’s for dinner and drinks every once in a while — the food is always consistent and delicious! Last night, I accidentally left my to-go box on the table while we went to play video poker, and it ended up being thrown away. The owner/manager was so kind and immediately had my meal remade fresh before we left. That level of service and care is greatly appreciated — we’ll definitely keep coming back!

I went with my daughter in the afternoon. She ordered a kids Mac which was okay. I ordered the crab and artichoke dip – big mistake. It came with bell peppers (this was never mentioned, I can’t stand bell peppers), which overpowered the whole dish and means I didn’t taste any of the crab. The worst part were the black spots I kept finding in the dip. I tried avoiding it at first but the more I dug in, the more I found. I eventually asked the server about it and she said it’s normal, it’s the artichoke that looks like that. I said I’ve seen/had plenty of artichoke dips (served and eaten) in my lifetime and not once had I came across it looking like that. It looked like it was decaying! I should have taken a photo. She came back after speaking with the cook and he confirmed it’s normal so it wasn’t removed it from my bill. I didn’t pry anymore even though I barely ate it. I paid and left, just wanted to get outta there.
My gripe is this – 1) if you’re going to have a dish look like that, maybe just remove it from the menu or 2) get a different artichoke brand because black spots in a dish, especially with crab is not appeasing.. do better. We will not be back.
