Our coffee begins with responsibly sourcing some of the finest hand-selected beans in the world, and paying farmers and workers a fair wage to help improve their community’s infrastructure. Then, it’s roasted with care and love in small batches, staying true to the art of crafting quality coffee and ensuring a smooth, rich and delicious finish. About 10 minutes ago I went through…I didn’t get a good morning greeting…or any greeting. She handed me my cookies like I was infested with germs. Handed my cups while rolling her eyes. She shut the window before I could say thank you. I waited. When she finally opened the window again. I asked her for her name. Aysha? And I let her know she was supposed to wish me a nice day or give me a closing greeting. To which she gritted “have a nice day” through her teeth ..Not sure why the animosity. But this is the second bad encounter with this individual. I made the difficult decision to leave a poor review. I know she is a young person, but if her attitude is not addressed, it can lead to more poor experiences for future customers.

Honestly, I’ve never been a big scooters gal. I love my coffee and no exactly how I want it. I was incredibly impressed and loved my scooters cold brew. The flavor was strong without the bitter acidic taste that some cold brew can have. I went out on a limb and decided to give this scooters a try because the owners are so supportive of other small local businesses in our community. Point proven when I pulled up to see one of the owners working the window, and their staff was very cheerful, my coffee was excellent Cozad is so lucky to have this addition to our town. I will be back! 10 out of 10.

There have been multiple occasions where they have been closed before their hours on their window states closing time is. It is never consistent. I found myself driving to Lex again last night just to get a coffee because that shops hours are reliable.
If it’s due to staffing, there should be a Facebook or public statement that they are closing early.
Locally owned or not, it’s a franchise, so it’s held to a higher standard then a ma and pop shop.

I order daily. I have only encountered one mix up, and they fixed it on their own accord on my very next visit. They have always been very friendly and welcoming, regardless of how busy or slow they have been.
